Please I need assistance. My 2004 Honda CRV radio displays (0 000) if I on it.
I was trying to set the clock when it happened after holding the clock button.
What do I do to make the radio come on. Thank you all.

Hi guys,

I drive a 2005 EOD. I noticed that when I floor the gas pedal, I start smelling fuel in the car. Sometimes, when I’m just accelerating normally too, I smell fuel in the car too.

What could be the issue, any pointers.

Thanks

Before buying the car, please check the custom papers. That will give you a hint about when the car got into the country.. Also run the Vin on askniid.org to see if it has been registered before.

When the car gets into the country means nothing. I've seen someone drive a car for 6 years with less than 25k Mike's added to the initial odometer when the car arrived Nigeria. How was the car maintained is the most important thing to look into.

Good morning house,
I drive a Honda Accord 2006 model(DC) and lately I have been experiencing delay in transmission up to about 2 to 3 mins when engaged in drive or reverse early in the morning before the engine warms up. My mechanic said he suspects the sensors and advised I allow a Rewire to check it out for me. Pls I need assistance if their is anyone who had/has similar problem. I want to draw from your wealth of experience pls. Save a soul. I am in IBADAN and won’t mind a referral to an expert. Thanks

Why don't you start by scanning your car and posting the error codes here. Secondly what colour is your transmission fluid and it's level in your car?

This your issue might be Evap related. Check your canister and the vacuum hoses connected to it running from your fuel tank to your injector rail. A tube might have torn or your evap control solenoid might be faulty.

That’s a guess though so scan your car.

Also check if all your fuel injectors are connected and working well while down there.

Glad to see Gazzuz, luvinghubby, adanny01, nurey still offering help since the last 6years (wow @ 283 pages so far) that's how long it took me. Good Evening, Fam.

I just got a tokunbo 06 Accord as a first time owner.

I noticed the following and wanted to find they are normal or abnormal.

1. Car revs (changes sound at interval) when the AC is on, especially, when it's parked.

2. Car makes noise when you release the brake either to reverse or drive. It's much when I release gradually.

3. There is a slight "cricket sound" when the AC is on.

Are these experiences now?
Re: Maintenance Tips For Honda Cars by easysunny(m): 8:22pm On Mar 30, 2021
Pls house help! My car jerks & vibrates with a sound when I load gear to Drive. The car is Honda Pilot 2008.
It all started after working on the AC. The AC man loosed the compressor in order to change the compressor coil as identified why the AC is not cooling.
However, while coupling back the hose & rest, I don't know how he fixed the transmission hose. As I start the engine, the transmission fluid poured out heavily & I quickly off the engine. I didn't notice any sign that very moment
But while driving home, I notice the car can't climb heel normally as it used before. Then I notice the car jerks while driving.
Now it jerks, vibrate & make a sound when I start the car & load the gear to D. I bought the ATF and topped it. The mechanic told me it's gauged.
However, yesterday as was driving, first I started smelling like something is burning. Next, i saw A/T Temp in the dash board. I pulled over.& switched off. I google the sign & it means the auto transmission is hot.
Then I called a mechanic, he checked & said the fluid is low. I bought another ATF and it was topped. The A/T Temp didn't come up again neither the smell.
However, the jerk & vibrate continues when I load the gear to D. Once it's parked, when I start the engine and load the gear to D, it jerks & vibrate. But if I put it in a R, it doesn't jerk. And while driving, it changes gear normally but I feel it.

Pls, any advice

First advice......use recommended transmission fluid for your Honda pilot, Honda Dw1. I think it's about 3k per litre. Then let's know about the update. Honda pilot is a very strong car. The best vehicle have used

Okay. That means I've to flush out the current fluid. I used Oando Dextron II. My mechanic recommended that when I changed the oil on October, 2020

Strong possibility of gear issues when gear oil is drained(directly or indirectly) while engine is hot.

Check for damaged side engine seat, flush and refill gear with recommended ATF.

Good morning the experts in the house!

I drive a Honda City "07, bought in February, 2021 as a Nigerian used car. Truth be said, I have never enjoyed the car one bit - it's problem-ridden. I have spent so much going in and out of mechanical workshops.

Now the car overheats like hell, engine vibrates like earthquake sites, the electrical..., etc.. I need help. Can't use it for what I bought it for and it's so annoying. My major concern right now is how to overcome the overheating.

Thanks already Sirs and Mas.
