Hi bro, could you give recommendation on 2007 c280? In terms of reliability and fuel consumption compared to E90 328i. To be used by a lady for daily commute

I think the E90 is the better car by far. I'm not sure how maintenance costs stack, though.

I get 14mpg combined on a 5.5L version of that engine , so the 2.5L V6 variant should give solid gas mileage all things considered.

I'm not a fan of the rest of the car, though. I find the W203s to be quite shoddily built. Facelift models less so, admittedly.

Oh, sorry, my bad. I read that as the C230. But yeah, gas mileage should be decent.

I've been good, chief. How things?

Thanks chief

Good man.

Hello house. Looking at Honda Accord 2006 or 2007 LX or EX popularly called Discussion Continues in Nigeria.

How good is this car in terms of reliability and cost of maintenance? Does it have a reliable transmission?Would you choose this car over Toyota Camry 2006? Both seem to have same spec per say.

Thanks.

Car is reliable.
Cost of maintenance is relative and depends on your pocket. However, parts are ubiquitous and averagely affordable

I’d pick this car over a 2006 Camry

I am much more interested in the reliability. It will be used for inter state travel occasionally so really wondering if there is anything i should be worried about. Cost of parts when compared to Camry of same year?? How is the transmission as i have read Honda has some poor transmission.

Thanks once again.

It is a reliable vehicle and has good fuel economy, acceleration is top notch and you won't have transmission problems as long as you don't utilize wrong transmission fluid even for 1 day. Change transmission fluid every year if possible or 1 and half years, any sound on the front legs should be checked and always better to buy tokunbo shaft than brand-new.

Never use rubbish power steering fluid, brake seldom gives issues because all 4 are disc no drum.

Engine is timing chain but the single drive belt should be changed when you notice issues.

Door and window electrical issues would come but can be easily fixed, ignition key teeth too fails often and has to be re- aligned key would pop out while engine is on, not a common occurrence.

Above all car is highly reliable and long distance capable

I haven’t used a 2015 Camry but I’ve driven the Accord.
I’d rather suggest you take the 2016 Accord which is by far the better option. I will pick the V6 if I were you.

Well na why I ask you your location sha, cos it's apparent you're not based here in Naija.

Even dudes based abroad would leap on the Lexus without thought.

Watch this YouTube video of a Lexus that has lasted 596,000miles and read through the comments of even Oyinbo people, then you agree sey Lexus no be these guys them mate.

It might be a boring car, but what's the essence of you almost always expecting something to break when you rev up your engine! *in Scotty Kilmer's voice* grin

don't wait for the color yo change but from what I notice
pink abi nah light red still good/fresh

light brown need to change this one will work along with year the fluid has stayed

black means all is not well.

If you don't have the financial capacity to bring out 100k for repairs spontaneously, the Lexus is the better option. Your budget is 6m, though, so you should be fine.

Look at a 2013 GS350. You may have to stretch your budget.
Or look at a 2012 C350. Or a 2012 E350.

Thank you very much, I thought the GS350 uses strictly premium fuel, unlike the ES350 u always recommended. I'll check it out right now

The ES is good, too. I just suggested the GS because you were considering Mercedes.

It doesn't require premium fuel. I've got a low miles clean 2013 gs350 toks. But you have to up your 6m budget. 6m can't even get the es350 as it is now.

Morning all...

I've been confused about these 3 cars:

1) 2009/2010 Acura TL FWD

2) 2007/2008 Gs350 RWD or AWD

3) 2009 C300 RWD

My concern mainly is reliability and longevity on road, upscale in terms of luxury, looks, handling and availability of technician and parts.

Mpg is similar as well as cost of parts.

Please helppppp.... embarassed
