1. Since you don't understand English, I will help you. The blockade shows that the North has a lot to offer. While there was abundance of food in the North during the blockade, there was scarcity in the South (see screenshots)..

2. The North has mineral resources in abundance, including gold, zinc, rare metals (SnNbTa), lead, etc.. (see list below)... Agriculture is there...
