You seem to think of counter attacking as only when a team sits deep and try to get a quick goal after the opposition has lost the ball quickly.

Counter attacking is fast attacking, when a possession is lost in my half, I can execute it against small teams too!!!

We play fast attack when the opponents loose the ball, most times this doesn't end well.
This season most teams have set up against this, Leipzig learnt their lessons the hard way.

I am not a fan of this tactics though.

Check the position City CBs occupy in majority of their games, check the position of their fullbacks and where their central midfielders operate from and you'd understand why I said Maguire and Lindelof will exchange passes a million times...I'd like to see a percentage of our possession represented across the pitch (defense, midfield and attack) and compare it with that of other top teams we are chasing...

About the positioning, do you see how high shaw and bissaka play ?, Even Maguire becomes a midfielder, only lindelof sits back.(taking games against small teams into consideration).

Madrid used to be inferior to Barca and Barca have Messi, one player that is sure going to keep at least 3 players of the opposition busy...You have no option but to take that into consideration lest you'd be destroyed...

France were not all counter attack, their coach choosed a balanced approach...

United can launch the fastest attack better than any other team in the premiere league, most coach have said this in there match preview against United.

That's why most of our attackers are fast.

Pep plays a possession based footy, Liverpool are renowned for pressing high up the pitch and generally out running their opponents courtesy of Klopp ghen ghen style of football...What's our own style? We don't defend well, we struggle to keep possession and when we are not up against top teams that leave a lot of spaces behind, we struggle to create chances...

Apparently the team with the 4th highest shots per game struggles to create chances .

Second full season, Still in top 4.
You can't sack a manager mid season with this kinda result, especially wen you're brought to steady the ship. He's steadying it and doing it perfectly (just "enoughly" ok), until a better coach takes over.(hopefully for you guys, they won't extend his contract)

I think that's what you guys don't seem to understand from your board. Ole didn't take over a champions' team like Moyes did, he took over a faltering team from mou, so he can't really be judged like Moyes or Mou.
