Ganjafama: How is it tribalism for a tribe to be celebrating one of theirs doing well abroad? If he had been arrested for drug pushing abroad, you people will remember he is Igbo by force. 5 Likes 1 Share |

It's great to see McLaren investing in Ugo. Same thing they did with LH44 in the 1990s. That UU and LH44 are half-castes should give you a good indication of what marketing ploy McLaren have in mind in the future; pls their car is getting better and Ugo may end up joining Lando Norris in the F1 team. I'm not convinced Ugo is as good as LH44 was at the same age but he's good enough to win titles. I believe LH44 was a global world champion at the same age but could be wrong. The Ferrari Young drivers program is over-subscribed and to get into the RedBull young drivers program, you need big backers. Dan Ticktum, despite his speed was kicked out for being forthright in his views. I hope McLaren allow him to be himself without the PR corporate personality that the RedBull drivers are forced to adopt. Good luck Ugo ! We're rooting for you ! |

streetsoldier1: I'm igbo too. please don't pay attention to all these riffraff online. they are pathetic beings. As regards Yoruba dominating the ICT world, that's debatable. I agree that are might be in the lead but they Igbos are definitely not sleeping. |

Ganjafama: Burna Boy is Ekpeye; Rivers is not an ethnic nationality. Dangote is a menace to the Nigerian economy. I'm not Igbo, but I don't see anything wrong in "Igbo amaka", all I can see is jealousy emanating from your reply. 1 Like |

streetsoldier1: For your info, both Igbos and Yorubas collectively dominate ICT. Just as we have Tope Awotona the owner of Calendly, we have Nnamdi Ezeigbo, the owner of SLOT Technologies. Just as we have Olugbenga Agboola the owner of Flutterwave, we have Leonard Stanley Nnamdi Ekeh, the owner of Zinox Technologies. Just as we have Dr Toyin Ajayi the owner of Cityblock, we have Chris Ani, the owner of Cryptohub. The list goes on and on. Even at MIT,Havard,Minerva,e.t.c, most Nigerian tech gurus are either Igbo or Yorubas, I haven't seen anyone among these two dominate the other. 1 Like |

Jaqenhghar: Fair enough! Kids are given names that mean something to the parents. Why do you think he was given Igbo names....names which he proudly uses and doesn't hide away like some Chief of defence staff who hides his purported Igbo name? |

PROUDIGBO:Of course names mea something but dont get too over excited. There are millions of people of Nigerian descent who bear Nigerian names. It has nothing to with pride. Its just a name. If you ask many of them they will look you dead in the eye and tell you they are not Nigerians. |
