Wanice: Hello Wanice, 1- You do not need a sponsorship letter from the company 2a- No 2b- Yes 2c- Yes If your dad is the sole proprietor, then I don't think there's any need for those other documents. Don't forget to add the Business' CAC document. IT WILL END IN PRAISES. 1 Like 1 Share |

Please for evidence of home ties in Canada student visa application, I want to inform them I have a business here. Do I need to submit the business bank statement to prove this or the CAC certificate is OK? |

Submit all documents that show you have a legit business running in Nigeria. Don’t leave any stone unturned Olubs80: 2 Likes |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 18 by deommanuel: 11:06am On Mar 25, 2021 |
Olubs80: Hello Olubs Adding just the CAC is fine. But looking at the bigger picture, you might want to include the BS(If it has wonderful inflow and outflow) to show the VO that the said Business is very much profitable, and that you'd have to come back after your studies as it's important to you. IT WILL END IN PRAISES 1 Like |

Good morning all, I am new on the platform. Please I have an issue. I recently applied for M.Eng in Computer Engineering (thesis-based and funded) in MUN but was rejected based on unavailability of supervisor. But they said that I can be considered for MASc in Computer Engineering for fall 2021 but it require additional fees of about 21,000CAD apart from the school fees which is about 2,000CAD. I have told them to go ahead and consider me for that but I seek advice for a path: 1. Do I go ahead with this MASc and pay additional fees (which I intend to raise but do not have a the moment and join them in fall? 2. Do I wait and reapply for M.Eng for next year and try and get a supervisor ahead of time? 3. Do I go straight and apply afresh and apply for PHD fully funded cos I already have my MSc from a Nigerian University. I intend to use my uncle as a sponsor and my current account is not up to 3,000USD and I am also married with kids. Age:36 I will appreciate your kind response. |

Ruthiegal: Yes, you can. What you do currently, is that where you have experience and not related to your LLB qualification, all you need to do is state your interest convincingly in your SOP. Your LLB can be used to seek admission in any area, M.Sc, PGD, if that's what you want. All the best. |

kelvine95: HELLO, based on what you said, does it me someone with an HND and 41 yrs going for a PGD could raise a red flag too. Secondly, is it necessary adding employment letter to visa application form. You know most of our company won't agree to do that, and ones job might be at risk with such move. Pls I need kind advice |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 18 by Teenie19(f): 12:48pm On Mar 25, 2021 |
Hello, in my opinion, you should upload this under client information as it is supporting your proof of employment and not necessarily proof of funds. Of course you are still going to upload your MBS under proof of funds as well. It shall end in praise LadyBlaq: |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 18 by Anon123: 1:18pm On Mar 25, 2021 |
keleto: You going for a PGD isnt a red flag. A 35yr old got a visa approval for advanced diploma o not even PGD. All you need to focus on is ensuring you show good career plans and good finance to back it up and add God in it.. YES... thats the evidence that you are currently employed and thats evidence of hometies. |
