I will give you a summary of what you need

The electric machine (Chinese machine) is a semi automated machine that makes neater blocks. It produces 3 nine inches and 6 six inches blocks per time. But it's quite expensive. It will cost you between 3-4 million Naira to get. While the local machine will cost you about N450k - N500k to buy.

You will need these items after you buy any of the machine of your choice and budget, Hose, Water storage tank, water pumping machine, shovels, wheel barrow and pallets.
Am assuming you have your location sorted out and have a store for your cements and equipment in place.

Market and profit analysis, I won't be able to give you much details on that though I know the profit margin is usually small.

My advice to you. If you do not have a reliable source of water at your intended location, then find a new site. Water is as important to the production of blocks as cement is.

Secondly, avoid loans to set up a block industry, the business is seasonal and usually the first to take a heat when there is financial crunch. Your creditor may not understand with you.

Thirdly, get a good team of experienced workers.

Finally, Finally, DON'T SELL ON CREDIT, nobody should build a house without funds in place.

Below is a list of items you need.
1. Land
Most Block Industry owners do not own the land they work from. It mostly belongs to farmers who they pay a lease to.
Make sure you are close to a water source like river,stream or water way or dig a well. Water is the life blood of the business. Do not
under any circumstance entertain the idea of buying water or the business will crash before it takes of!

2.Machinery
You need a Lister engine. These are very expensive, so you want to source for the most affordable you can find.This normally means
travelling out of town to buy one.
You need a moulding machine. This is what shapes your blocks. These are made to order by local manufacturers.
You need a Water Pumping Machine(Looks like a small generator) This brings in water from your source.

3. Materials
You need wooden pallets.This is where your blocks stay to dry out after moulding.Bought from local makers. Start with a few hundred pieces
(200-500 pieces).
You need also
1 x Wheel Barrow
2 x Shovels
2 x Metal drums(To house water for your machines during moulding.)
2 x Security chains to secure items when you leave site.

4.Storage
You have two options. Buy wood from the market and ask a carpenter to construct a small hut for you. Alternatively and more expensively
you can buy a disused shipping container and convert. This is to store your items like unused bags of cement when you leave for the day.

5. Daily operation
It's profitable depending on a few factors.
Location: For obvious reasons
Season: During rainy season contructions all over the country slow down meaning less need to buy blocks and less business.
Inflation: When a bag of cement rises or falls it affects your ability to mold and customers ability to build or buy blocks for doing so.
Capital: The business is very cash intensive. Every thing you do you will have to pay upfront whilst waiting for sale to recoup cost and profit.
This includes the machine operator and labourers who are all paid per block and types of block(there are two types) and on the day!
This includes your sand delivery which is paid upfront.
This includes your bags of cement which you obviously buy upfront too.

Lolz see yabbing for teachers ..... not that bad ,, a friend of mine teaches and he’s on 53k salary . Spends nothing on transport (not far from his abode) .. does some lessons and sees about 60k there... that’s above 100k monthly.. he saved up and starts a side hustle which pays about 40k month on an average..... Although he plans to eventually stops the work Soonest but he wants to mop up money as much as he can ... not all teachers are underpaid

You secured a loan without having a clear cut idea of the business you intend doing.
Let me inform you that we are already in the raining season and that slow down Block making industry,i will advise you hold on to that teaching job till probably the dry season period and invest that money on something that is of less risk which can at least pay some of the interest on the loan

To survive in block industry business, you need to have a delivery van. Do you have one? If not, do the needful because that 600k of yours cannot serve better.

Squeeze 30k out of d fund.. go to Udemy and buy good skills(online course) u can learn and monetize within few weeks or months.There is nothing much to crypto.. That's what many people do not understand oooo.... It's just that many teachers are suffering. I'm not suffering as a teacher by God's grace but I'll definitely quit the job very soon when my business can feed the family.

OP, on the contrary, why not start food business with the 600k, as in cook and sell. Could be only in the morning or evening time or both. You can employ good hands to cook for you. Just get a space in a busy area. For instance, here in ibadan that business is thriving.
