When talking about some of the most brutal leaders Africa has ever produced, the name Idi Amin Dada must first come to mind, when one hears the series of atrocities committed by the Ugandan warlord, you can't help but wonder whether it is blood that flows through his vein


But Idi Amin did not commit those atrocities alone, as a matter of fact he used certain people to carry out his devilish acts, one of such people is Isaac Maliyamungu who is popularly referred to as Idi Amin Killing machine.

Isaac was one of the most trusted soldiers of Idi Amin, even though Idi Amin was known to have trust issues during his regime, he held Isaac so close to his heart because Isaac was there from the onset of his government, he was part of those involved in the coup that brought Idi Amin to power, he was born a christian and he was a nephew to Idi Amin, no wonder the dictator was so fond of him


When Milton Obote was the president of Uganda, Idi Amin was the deputy commander of the Ugandan Army, on his order, Isaac was recruited into the Ugandan army, sooner than expected Idi Amin started planning a coup to overthrow Milton Obote, his nephew Isaac played a crucial part in recruiting soldiers that they secretly trained in a dense forest, being an insider of the Milton Obote government, Isaac learnt of the ploy to arrest Idi Amin by Milton, he quickly alerted Idi Amin and told him to speed up the coup

Malimamungu was given the task of securing the popular Entebbe airport in Uganda so that all forms of movement will be halted as soon as the coup began, it was during this coup that Idi Amin became so impressed with his nephew on the day of the Coup, he drove an armoured tank from the barrack to the airport, he released a shot at the gate of the airport killing two priest in the process,this caused a panic in the airport and the opposition fled,allowing Isaac to take absolute control of the airport, the manner with which he secured Entebbe airport impressed Idi Amin so much that Isaac immediately found favour in his eyes

The wheel of Idi Amin's reign is already rolling, Isaac was given the singular task of wiping all loyalist that were loyal to the former president Obote, he was also told to make sure that all soldiers that are not in support of Idi Amin government be wiped out of the army with immediate effect, this task made him one of the most powerful men in Uganda at the time,because Idi Amin gave him the powers to execute anybody that is not in support of his government including superior highly ranked military officers, within four months, Isaac have murdered hundred of Ugandans, little wonder he was called the Killing Machine


Being a blood thirsty General, his mode of operation impressed Idi Amin and he quickly made Isaac his right hand man, he became very powerful as he controlled not just the army but the entire armed forces of Uganda, he became a fearsome figure among soldiers of the country, no one dare go against Idi Amin else he goes six feet the next day,due to his loyalty to the Idi Amin regime, he was widely regarded as the heir to the throne, many believed he will be their next ruler, he was a no nonsense soldier who makes sure he leaves no stone unturned,to kill Idi Amin, you must first of all kill Isaac Maliyamungu

Isaac Maliyamungu was the arrow head of Idi Amin's weapons, but the day the sraelis came to rescue their citizens maliyamungu was no where to be found, he was busy having fun with a prostitute.

it was a propaganda spread by the west to make idi Amin appear like a barbaric savage, Idi Amin was not a cannibal

Ah. This man died of poisoning in 1984. I still remember the raid on entebee by mosaad of Israel, when they flew in the night, killed many soldiers at the entebee airport and all the Palestinians kidnappers at the tarmac, and freed all d captives. How I wish the terrorists govt of Nigeria will be brought down by mosaad too
