As a an aggrieved user of Xiaomi. I was silently looking through their thread for solutions to my phone's problem. When I saw a woman's comment. She was pained by the fact that she was unable to connect to their Tv at home. Meanwhile her husbands phone can connect.
This moved me to address the fact that once you buy a Mi Device you cannot access or connect to other device. You have been technologically isolated.

Even till now there was no solution to her problem. I fear this will cause problems since she made a great sacrifice to buy Mi Device only to be disappointed.

How many more people will go down while supporting this cause?

I think it is the TV using older tech protocol. My older xiaomi device connect to my TV but my Mi 11 doesn't.

I suggest the TV connection protocol doesn't sync with what xiaomi offers.

before my Redmi note 9 got stolen, it never for once allowed me cast you smart TV. I got a Camon 16 and it worked perfectly

No not necessarily, my Samsung still connects to all TVs. I went for a friends party and casted straight to his sharp tv. I use curve tv but the sharp looks 2016/15 ish. And it still worked so I guess it's the phone .

Nice phone I must commend. Samsung connects to all TVs both ancient and new. Like usual they must have omitted something in the new MiUI

What is this guy saying.. I use a Samsung a50 though I plan on switching to Redmi note 10, but if I tell you the series of software wahala wey this Samsung don cause me. If not that I'm very patience. I for don smash the phone..
I have been using this a50 till now all thanks to xiaomi thread and Genius48 that made me understand that some updates might have bugs... I will pick a xiaomi over a Samsung any day, anytime and anywhere
