shupy post=14268:shupy: Thank you @Shupy, We I have done quite a number of travels alone (job related) and few family travels. One of the family travel was to Canada and we didnt over stay. My husband has a stable job, we have some assets and a joint biz we run part-time. I really dont fancy leaving him out due to the fact that he will not be able to get his Visa renewed to come visit us hence my question on if I can include him in my application. Secondly, is a 3year advanced diploma in Georgian College a good choice? I see it does not qualify me for the NSE. P.S There is no Msc/MBA or PGD course in aviation that will give me in-depth knowledge as the one I have chosen. Thanks 1 Like |

Funformofi:I think those who have had study permit alongside family members are in a better position to answer you. I hope they see your post. If you're going to include your kids you must explain how they're going to be catered for. About your course, NSE shouldn't be your biggest concern. You can always submit NSE requirements when applying. The issue with the course is that it's not in progression with your previous level of education. How's the course going to be beneficial to your career on your return to Nigeria. That's one of the question you must answer. The fact is lack of progression is not a plus to your application. 1 Like |

kolaxx12: Post graduate If yes, I applies with my bsc degree certificate, student copy of my bsc transcripts, neco certificate, birth certificate and resume. The process is to create your profile on ontariocolleges website. Select your school and course, fill the required information needed, then upload your documents. After that you make the 100cad payment. I made mine with my access bank debit card. Once the payment is made you'll receive a confirmation mail from the school |

kolaxx12: I didnt apply with IELTS. If you reach the part on the questionnaire that asks for ielts, select the option that your education was taught in English. I guess that'll waive ielts for you. 1 Like |

Good day everyone and congrats to all who recently got approvals. I received helpful information from here and other platforms when I was applying for my study visa. So I am willing to pay it forward and help. Although in my previous comments, I have always said, I won't be able to respond to private messages. Well, now I changed my mind. You can send me private messages if neccesary and I will try to respond. SO, If you sent me a private message before and didn't get a reply, you can now send it again and I will try to reply. Also I believe we have a lot of people here on this platform that can answer your questions. I wish you all a success in your Canadian dreams and pursuit. I was once a Canadian MSC student. BUT NOW, I am writing from my beautiful home in Canada ILoveDLord: 20 Likes 1 Share |

Please I was informed by my mum to try canada student route. Please what is the cheapest school I can go to and what are the steps I will take. Also is it a must I write ielts?? Because I want to move away from here as soon as possible thanks and God bless as someone finds time to answer me. I studied international relations and will like to study anything relating to IT or computer if I can’t do that I can go for my masters in another course. Please put me through on my first step |

Frankrobbn1:It doesn't have to be stated anywhere. We all know that nothing is guaranteed, and yes pull it off. However progression is always going to be a better choice. Going for a degree at the same level is always going to raise concern. No matter how beneficial the second degree would be to someone's career, a visa can be denied solely on the grounds that there is no progression. |

For cheap schools, Google search can help. Just search Google. The information about the process can be found here. But you must be willing to take your time to read through the pages. You can learn from other people's story. Depending on the school you are applying to, IELTS is not compulsory, since Nigeria is an English speaking country. What you need in place of IELTS is an official letter from your university stating that Nigeria's official language is English, studied and were taught your courses in English. The letter should be written on the official letter headed paper. Preferably sent from the office of the Registrar. You need to write a convincing statement of purpose as to why you want to study the course. There are lots of information written on this platform, just take your time and read through. All the best.
