First if u are going for winter semester I assume that u ha e gotten school already, if not u better start looking fast because there are very few English thought courses for BSc in Germany, 90% are thought in German. You have to get the sch first, then see if they accept English proficiency letter or of they are insisting on IELTS... If they accept proficiency then explain to ur sch that they just need to state that all your causes during ur HND program were all thought in English, and that ur proficiency in English is never in doubt as evidence in ur academic records. Hope this helps 1 Like 1 Share |

For people still finding it difficult to get their desired courses or those who intend to apply to schools without uni assist, you can check out this website mygermanuniversity .com. they have a more robust database than Daad. 1 Like 1 Share |

Mike213: You guys should be serious here. This is an academic thread and the quality of posts should reflect that. You have to spend time to study the websites, requirements and education in Germany in general and should be able to do so without needed 'help'. You need to study, you found a school, then what else do you need? Someone to tell you to read their admission requirements? Someone to tell you to gather required documents? Someone to tell you to click 'Apply'? Someone to tell you to email or fill a Contact Form for further enquiries? Anyone seeking for a postgraduate study should be self-equipped to handle BASIC stuffs about applications and only ask technical questions. Anyways, use available Daad.de and masterportal.com to filter your search, all public universities in Germany are tuition-free and you only have to pay semester fees of 270-300 EUR every semester to maintain your studentship. Summer semester application has closed and Winter Semester applications will soon open and mostly close June 15th annually. Apply to several schools in related courses of interest you qualify for. After admission offered, you begin the visa process and hopefully the situation will be better at the Embassy in Nigeria, before you start talking about blocked account. 2 Likes |

I have been reading this Thread I got to realized that I can only apply for Bsc with my HND cert. Now my question are: Must I apply through daad? Are there any schools I can apply to directly for Bsc in business-related courses? How much would I be required to Block for in Germany. Do I need IELTS ? I'm asking all these to know the financial implications before starting the journey Thank you |

feclela: Kekekeke and you have been reading this thread? 1. No; It is not a must. 2. You sort for schools and check if you can apply directly or need uni-assist 3. Let's just say 10,500 euro 4. Depends on your school but most times; Yes! 5. That's the end of the Q&A |

NwadiNK:No, he’s definitely going to get a waiver. Go with your transcripts and course description and during the registration, they are going to compare the courses together. I’ve done it before at the Technical University of Munich. I took in my bachelor transcript and course description and I got a waiver. Stop misleading people on what you don’t have maximum information about. 1 Like |

Re: General-german-student-visa-enquiries Part 8 by Punkydude: 10:10am On Mar 29, 2021 |
Mike213: With 8 million i still think you can go to the UK. What is your first degree? Since UK have changed their visa laws you could get 2 years extra. With your MSc you can now go for Canada PR. Mind you if you are paying for MSc in the UK you will pay with PTA(Form A), so you will exchange at a good rate. I still strongly believe that anyone that can raise 6 mill for Germany can go to the UK.
