Nacho did OK. He was just getting tired that’s what necessitated the change. I think he starts again on Tuesday with Osihmen. Onuachu remains a backup, if we need to play a different style or try something different. O pari BascoVanVeli: 2 Likes |

Icon79: We should not let that Onuachu goal deceive us. His all round play is too poor to lead an attack for us. He can come in to use his aerial strength that's all. 4 Likes 1 Share |

I think we played well today irrespective of the scoreline. We created chances, hit the cross bar, shots on targets despite already qualifying with 2 games to spare. The most impressive player on the pitch was "Zaidu" and ironically he is the only one playing at the last 8 of the Champions league. - The exact reason why I always advocate for our players to play at the best clubs in the world. There's Quality and there's Quantity. Ola Aina was disappointing I was one of his biggest advocate at RB but if he keep playing this way, he will remain a back up to ebuehi and Awaziem at rb. Akpoguma at RB is a No no Zaidu - MOM for me was world class today Ekong and Balogun were shaky, uncomfortable with the ball but sadly there are no better replacement for now so we have no choice Chukwueze - Disappointing talented but unprofessional. The best players on the pitch today 1) Zaidu MoM 2) Onyekuru I was very impressed by him and to me he is better than Kalu, Simon, at LW 2 Likes |

chrisooblog:God bless you. I said that earlier in the game during first half. He played to the coaches instruction and did not do badly. I only felt he didn't look fit enough, abi na Senior man when dem dey call am make am no fit press again. Dude couldn't even chase opponents with the ball. |

andrewbaba44:lol this man. He did well to get the goal. I am still not convinced about his general play. He lost possession a couple of times while holding too long to the ball instead of passing on running with it. This will boost his confidence. We need him in the team! 1 Like |

BascoVanVeli:The real Monster machine. Unfortunately he is playing in a shitty Napolian side that doesn't feed him the ball. Unlike Haaland playing against baby defenders in the farmers league and padding goals. Let him come and score again Man city in UCl let's see how good he is. 2 Likes 1 Share

JohnBullMySon:what is the nonsense he is talking. Would you let an Onuachu lead an attack for us? He can come in as substitute and use his aerial presence to cause havoc. |

Banuso99:This person is not ok. What did Aina do to deserve a 7.5 rating above Sanusi, abi na different match we watch? Onuachu didn't do shit to deserve a 8 rating. Save that lucky goal, his overall game play was just average. We had better players that deserve Man of the match ie Sanusi, Ndidi and Onyekuru. 1 Like |

DrKlever:Philosopher likes to criticize too much. No one said Onuachu should lead an attack. Same as Iheanacho, But to to say he plays nothing other than head balls is wrong. I watched him at times. he can hold down the ball comfortably to pull defenders out of position and pass the ball to a free player. We just over criticize him because he lacks pace and plays "casually". Pace is not the only thing needed in football. A counter attacking game may not suit him, but I bet you he will score goals in possessive high pressing games. 3 Likes |

JohnBullMySon:Exactly. Onuachu isn't nearly as bad on the ball as some are making him out to be. Osimhen is of course more dynamic but there's no way this dude should not be getting invited. 1 Like |

Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by JohnBullMySon: 9:18am On Mar 28, 2021 |
edi287:Yeah. Rohr should start inviting four strikers. Onuachu will be in a top five league. Moffi and Simi are doing well, Sadiq will likely also be in the top flight. We must cut down in defence and increase options in midfield and attack. Just remembered dessers . My prayers and thoughts are with him. |
