airmark: Nwanneri’s signing was more of a homecoming. Na Aba boy from day 1. Funny enough, some of these niggas are into business now and have nothing for football. Uga Okpara and Nwanneri who used to pair at the heart of defense then, both now import textiles from China to warehouse and sell in Aba. Some fell off the grid though. Someone like Ndidi Anumuni who used to be dubbed ‘Ronaldo De Lima’ in Aba for his predatory instincts back then is now back in the streets of Owerri sniffing coke. It’s a crazy life bro. Frimpong should be somewhere in Ghana, I think he left Nigeria few years after those heroics. I really don’t know about Nwanna now. 3 Likes 1 Share |

I remember the first time I met Obinna Nwanneri, that was in Nkwerre I think 2004 or 2005, we always called him senior bros because clearly he was not our mate... However Wikipedia and others claim he was born in 1982 2 Likes |

NinjaMetahuman: Ngannou was not knocked out o. Both of them barely engaged in that fight. Ngannou specifically looked like he was having a mental breakdown while Lewis was happy to go along for the ride, not risk himself and win on points. |

A40: Exactly. That "fight"was annoying. Miocic wrecked Ngannou's mentality for a while. |

Griffon: Guy, you need to watch Anayo Iwuala. Na the Messi of NPFL right now o. I watched him against Rivers United in Caf Confederation Cup qualifier (via NPFL app). The guy too good. Na him destroy Rivers United for 1st leg in Aba. The guy is exciting to watch. 2 Likes 1 Share |

airmark: Nwaneri na full time Aba boy nah.. I remember being in a joint (Nwanyi Ire Anu in Brass Street opp Ukwu tank. Griffon will know there) one Saturday like that with 2 of my friends to watch EPL when Nwaneri and his crew came in. Na so the guy finish the whole bar with drinks He literally settled the bills of the whole table in that bar. He just signed for FC Sion in Switzerland then. 1 Like |

Griffon: Anumuni? o boy! I know when Nwaneri built that his 5 storey building in Sacred Heart around Osusu that year. Na only Enyimba players be him tenants then... |

Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Champions Of Europe 2021 by Griffon: 6:38am On Mar 29, 2021 |
timbros: What works perfectly well here? Nothing other than corruption. I’m sure the order to allow fans came from the governors who needed every form of support for their respective State teams. Wike was offering Rivers boys 20milla if dem knock us out. Na small Corvid protocols wey en no fit break? This is still Nigeria bro. |
Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Champions Of Europe 2021 by timbros(m): 6:43am On Mar 29, 2021 |
Griffon: Lol.... The 20million no be to knock us out sef. Na just to win for Aba. He even offered both Rivers United and Rivers Angels 10 million for every away win in their respective leagues till season end. So far Rivers Angels don collect one 10million. 2 Likes 2 Shares |

timbros: Each goal scored against Enyimba $2000? Omo eh, Wike just wake up go adopt OUK’s motivation approach. That approach won us many titles in the 2000s. Enyimba must really be a good side to have kept those boys at bay. Why is Wike throwing money around lately? 2 Likes |

Griffon: The approach nearly work for them. We lost the 2nd leg here in PH (1-1 agg).... Na pk we take win the tie. PH just quiet that evening ... Media too hype that tie, as per local derby things. Wike just dey flex money anyhow. Just on Saturday at Burna boy homecoming, Wike give am land for Old GRA and money to buik on it. The 10million each for all the artistes and comedians wey perform, including Burna boy... 10million just be like 10k where Wike dey now |

Werner and cash for Haaland? I believe by now we should know we aren’t dealing with just Dortmund but also the greedy Mino Raiola who happens to be Haaland’s agent. I would have loved to see that boy here but I don’t see that transfer happening. Mino and Marina no dey follow talk, maybe she never gree show the man pant. 7 Likes |

I hope he doesn't pay their salaries till he lives office, and he should send military to kill any youth that protest against it. timbros: That Enyimba team was a super team then. Revolving door policy. Replacing good player with another good player. Soldier come, soldier go. If I remember correctly initially the CBs were Seyi Ogunsanya (or Seun I don forget) and Eric Ejiofor. It was when Eric and Seyi started using the club to catch cruise and abscond for foreign trials on the eve of crucial matches that the club released Orjinta and Nwaneri like new album. I gbadun that combo die. Uga Opara was there initially as understudy until all those guys left before he now became the chairman. |

afrodoc: Gbam! You follow Enyimba wella then. We won CAF Champions League with Orjinta and Nwaneri at the heart of defence. That combo was impregnable that 03/04 season. Watching Enyimba play then was like watching a proper European team play. I remember the FA Cup final vs BBC Lions in Liberation stadium, PH. That should be around 2005 or so... This guy Timothy Adjembe worry our defence die that day. We won in penalty shoot out. Shortly after that match, OUK sanctioned his signing sharperly ... I think he was the first million naira plus signing in NPFL. |
