ooa1st: If you included a my bank statement certificate and a copy of your IELTS with your application, IRCC will not request for any of these documents from you again under the NSE program. On the contrary that you didn't attach them with your application, then you will be contacted by IRCC to provide them to continue processing your application. I hope this satisfies your inquiry. Funformofi: My straightforward advice for you is to apply for a program that is higher than your already acquired degree. In essence, going for an advanced diploma dramatically reduces your chances of convincing the visa officer than you're a genuine student. With your vast 17 years work experience, you should be qualified for a Master's program if you adequately prepare your SOP for graduate admission. Again, its highly recommended that you should apply alone while your spouse and kids accompany you through the SOWP and visitor's (depending on the age of your kids). I hope this information satisfies your inquiry It will end in praise 2 Likes |

ozone00001: It takes quite a long time for IRCC to act on Withdrawal Request. You've to keep sending webforms to be certain that your request have been received by the responsible immigration office and being worked on. Otherwise, you will have to wait tirelessly and there will still be no staggering update on your file. On the other note, if your application has been processed to a certain extent before the withdrawal request, there will be no room for withdrawal. It will end in praise |

Frankrobbn1: Please i have this question as to after studies, canadian government give PGWP for 1year if course taken is 1year (PG CERT), but give PGWP for 3years when course taken is 2years. My question is, 1. How do one go about getting PG CERT for 2years cos most one ive seen is 1year 2. Please have been curious is there a way for getting funding or student loan ? 3. How does CRS, ITA and Nomination work after study. Sorry for my dumb questions i just felt as a new bee i should plan ahead of time.. |

Nickisindigo: Your chances are good at securing a study visa to Canada. However, It's important that you should prepare your application in accordance with the Canadian immigration regulations and manuals for the visa officer's review. The sponsor of your study abroad also plays a pivotal role in your case file and the reasons for opting to study in Canada considering the local options available in your home country. RoyalDukeDon: The visa officer is not satisfied that you've the financial resources to embark on your studies in Canada. He has expressed concerns that you're single, mobile and not established in Nigeria. More so, there are traces of large deposits which dropped into your sponsor's account two days prior to the account statement was printed. To adequately clear the grey areas in this regard, provide a detailed letter of explanation stating your establishment in Nigeria and why this program is a reasonable progression for you and worth the cost and difficulty of pursuing the program in Canada. Your sponsor should provide a separate letter which would elucidate in detail as to the origin of the funds that came into his account. More importantly, get your brother go transfer your living expenses into your account to prove that you've full access to the money in his account. I hope this information helps It will end in praise 1 Like 2 Shares |

FOR YOUR INFORMATION GUYS, read this. This is from my personal experience here in Canada while submitting my other IRCC applications and attaching Nigeria police Certificate. Even though that's what the Nigeria Police Certificate says on it, IRCC still recognizes the police Certificate as valid for one year. SO if you obtain and submit Nigeria police cerificate today, by IRCC standard, it is considered valid for one year, even though the Nigeria police Certificate reads valid for 3 months on it. I am speaking from my personal experience of using Nigeria police Certificate here in Canada for other of my IRCC applications(PR provincial nomination and post graduate work permit) Hope this helps Lekiboboe: 1 Like |

If you can get a digital photo great! But interestingly, I did not really use a digital photo in my application. I had a hard copy passport photo that was not too old. I used my phone camera to capture the passport photo, cropped it well and uploaded it as my digital photo and there was no issue in approving my study visa. But, yes a fresh digital photo is a better thing to do Frankrobbn1: 1 Like 1 Share |

Drhay: You can still apply for Pgd's, but your chances at getting into a masters program is not good. No you don't need WES. Colleges don't usually give scholarships but some universities do. And you will mostlikely be applying to colleges |

ILoveDLord:No, Nigeria PCC is valid for only three months if you are in Nigeria Yes, it's forever and not even one year if you have left the country when you received it For example, Mr A got his Nigeria PCC in Oct 2020 and want to use it to apply in March while still in Nigeria, no, not possible Mr B got his Nigeria PCC in Oct 2020 while in Canada(or anywhere outside Nigeria) the PCC is valid as long as he doesn't return to Nigeria even though 3 months is stated on it. Note: not a regular on this thread so speaking from FSW point of view and to the best of my knowledge PCC isn't compulsory for study visa |

please gurus and seniors, as regards NSE, 1. Must one pay tuition for a year to be sent the NSE request? 2. If one pays just a tuition deposit and has little below 30k and the sponsor has more than enough of that, will the person still be eligible to receive NSE request. Your clarification is greatly needed. thanks a lot for the help you all have rendered. |

You read that right, it at advantage for you now if you can complete your study online in your home country and still qualify for up to 3 years work permit in Canada. Before now, you had to have your full study physically in Canada to qualify for a post grad work permit. However due to the pandemic it was reviewed to having half of the study duration online and the remainder physically in Canada. But this have been further reviewed to having the full study online, and still qualify for Post Grad work permit. This is good news for you because, that removes living cost and feeding cost from your funding requirement. And in this time where Canada is approving study visa for Nigerians, its time to take action. But note that the study must be in Designated Learning Institutes(DLI). DLI, are institutions accredited by the Canadian government to accept international students. Not all schools can accept international students at the same time accepts students without IELTS exams. Please house How true is this? Will i still need apply for visa before starting the courser online? |

Frankrobbn1, thank you bossman. Like you rightly said, I attached my English test result but used a regular bank statement not MBS, the request letter I got this morning only asked for MBS, no IELTS. My main concern is, should I get MBS from myself and my sponsor or that of my sponsor alone is sufficient? Note, I already submitted a regular bank statement of 6 months. Also can I add a document that wasn't requested to the MBS & upload together (I omitted employer intro letter and death certificate of my dad). Thanks once again (please anyone with idea can help address the concerns raised. IT WILL END IN PRAISE Frankrobbn1: |

ooa1st: I believe your sponsor should have the highest volume of funds in his bank statement. You can provide his Mybank Statement Certificate for this purpose. Since you omitted some documents during the submission of your application, you're absolutely free to attached those documents with the requested information. It will end in praise 1 Like 1 Share |

Ketima: 1. No, payment of first year tuition fees is not a requirement prior to be considered for the NSE program. 2. Apparently, NSE request is automated. All applicants receives the request if their application package doesn't contain the required documents (IELTS and MyBank Statement certificate) for the program. It will end in praise |
