If you say been responsible : how can only a man be responsible for the children, and a woman who is a grown up adult . We're as both of them are supposed to be responsible for there family expenses.

Have u noticed when a man takes up all the financial responsibility of his home till the kids grow they only buy gift and cars for there mom.

Have you also noticed when a woman bear financial cost for raising her child , she will spoil there minds towards there father and make them see him as evil .have u ever seen a single mother that speaks good of his baby dady ? We need to use our head here .think very well men

Adults of nowadays don't understand how society has changed and the dynamics of marriage isn't the same as it was in their youth.
They're so used to having their "good" wives take care of them that they have failed to see that culture has drastically changed.

What is the ratio of those women who are taking some financial responsibility for the home? Probably 15-20 percent and such woman will bad-mouth their husbands so that their children will hate those men...

lol I pray. Children are 100% guaranteed profitable investment for women. No matter what, children will always appreciate and take care of their mother when they make it even if she was irresponsible. If a man shows the slightest form of irresponsibility he's clearly gone and will be abandoned by his children in his old age. Whatever a woman does in marriage she reap the profit 1000x in the future.
There's a song in my Esan dialect that women normally sing in ceremony. The translation of the song is, "in the morning I'm married to my husband, towards the evening, my children are now my husband whom I'm married to"

The worst is that if u want to get out of it, the church wont allow you or people around you, that it's a sin to walk away. Men gain nothing from marriage except suffering and disgrace from the women. To me it's better not to marry than to put yourself in perpetual suffering. No wonder Jesus and Paul never married.

What a man gains? Let me list a few:

He gains coming back home everyday to a well prepared meal.
He gains children that bear his ancestral name.
He gains a prayer warrior.
He gains a listening ear to all his life problems.
He gains someone to brainstorm and plans his future with.
He gains someone to help him raise his children.
He gains a “home”

Even if you insist children are a woman’s gain...they still bear the man’s name, if they become someone in the future, nobody would remember their mothers surname.

I can go on and on...

Such homes are the exceptions ma'am. Not the norm. I'm sure if most homes become like that, it's the women that'll be asking the question the op asked.

if you analyse the whole situation, a man's happiness in life is down to being in good standing financially, not down to being married. No matter how "good" a woman is (and those are scarce) you will see hell if you are not financially buoyant. If you are financially bouyant, you will get all the benefitss of marraige without the aggro because no Nigerian woman will leave a man who is financially bouyant even if you have 2 or 3 women!!!

I enjoyed my marriage for one year when we just married. Then my mother in law came to visit, then things changed. As I'm telling u now, marriage is nothing to me. I cook myself, wash my clothes myself, doing house chores myself, even fuvckin set,, she go dey deprived me . Sometimes two months nothing nothing... So tell me .. na like this I go dey look till I die ?

I bought everything full for house , food and drinks and other miscellaneous.
