E-hailing is like customer service work. Smile even if u aren't in d mood, remain courteous even when u r being spoken to rudely, apologise even when its not ur fault, ignore insults and apologise again. If u cant tolerate (worship) riders stay away from ehailing.
r u serious?

When we were about to climb ikoyi link bridge her bf called her apologizing, next thing I heard have you gone far? The girl didn't know anywhere and asked me "where are we pls"
Me: We're about to climb third mainland bridge grin

That was how I didn't lose my destination trip that day lol

Lol. I no that feeling of eavesdropping to know how to ensure u dont lose out

@ chucsmoor , enyinola and others who are using Camry (muscle) for the hustle, how much would you guve out your car on rental if you were to put such a car on the platform?

Camry 2010 model V4 assuming it's a tok.

And for the veterans in the house how much do you think you can rent such a classy car?

cc: peep4u, pope191 aka OBO, chillax, pearl1910, kanuisagoat, BAZ001 aka Baddo grin shollywendy, plus all the ogas.

Although the car is expensive so owner must get value but it consumes more fuel so driver will lose on fuel purchase.
However, driver will be enjoying offline trips so he can make it up for the lose in fuel.

So for this car its 30k on rental if its sharp tokunbo, 25k if its naija used

Brother man anything lesser than 25k you re cheating yourself, U don open business for driver be that. There is no huge difference between V4 Camry and Corolla interns of fuel consumption. I ve driven 4 different cars on this ehailing thing. I make 40k on weekends (sat and Sunday) alone on Indriver with 10k fuel. The issues with Camry is that, they are very fragile and too low to Navigate bumpy and rugged road. And be ready to spend on maintenance. It would be better to give out such car to driver with ehailing experience and careful driving habit or else won't like what your car will become after few months.

Inasmuch as this your advice sounds matured and fantastic, I would also want to say that life doesnt really or always go the way we as human always want or expect. Mind you there's no formular to have a successful union or marriage and at some point in life as couple spouse will have to deviate out of scope just to take the family to her permanent site.

I always have this ideology about men which is, they're transient (naturally mobile) provided its all for the money to move the family. Since iyawo and probably Omo are involve, it's best they stay behind. It's a good thing wifi is even working, relocating affects children the most especially their primary and secondary education and friends because these is the foundation of every human. Most people make their life time friends during these period so changing place of residence affect negatively.

Ilesa is just 4-5hrs away from lagos, this any serious man that loves his family can do at least twice monthly to Come visit his family and then return once he is well settled in his new place of work.

In few years time now self the journey from that side to Lagos will be less than 1hr by train.

We have men living abroad that have family here in Nigeria let alone for those living within Nigeria.

All because of money...Baba, money is not everything and when it happens that money will not even help.

Secondly, its not even good money sef (apologies if I sound derogatory/demeaning to the salary)...if he was going abroad or if the pay is very good that's fine.

Thirdly, its not a well structured coy or govt work so there is no job security. So he really can't build his family around that job.

Lastly, he can easily make 100k driving if that's the amount he wants and still have all the rest, time with family, and time to do other things that will bring money or give him peace and fulfilment.

I know marriages succeed apart but the failure rate is more prevalent...and for me I cherish family above any other thing. For 100k/month its not worth it.

Just saying my view, cos I already said I can't advise him in this regard.

I don't lie Bro...I have nothing to gain or lose. All things being equal with 1k fuel I make minimum 5k without surge. That's why I said 5k fuel gives me 25-30k.

Condition of car, driving habit, and condition of roads are determining factors

Riders know what they're doing.

Once its ending of every month I used to refused anything transfer cos most bank dey do audit/balancing.

Use this method and be free... just go to cybercafe and type this exact words *150 naira make use of their photocopy 60naira and collect their cell tape to safe yourself from unnecessary riders tension.

Place one on your dashboard and one at the back headrest.

Dear Copilots I need your sincere advice.

I lost my contract bank job 2 and half years ago, though I was earning less than 80k.

6 months later I was able to gather funds, personal savings, Loans from family and friends (Non interest) and I got a Matrix 04, I have since paid back all these loans.

I have been driving on uber/bolt for 2 years and its wonderful. I net above 100k in a month when I work fully, but the fatigue and stress has been taking a toll on my health since last year( I started looing weight and now I'm down some other ailments, but getting better) I started active driving 2 years ago, may be im not the strong type tho.

Recently I got a job offer of a little above 100k(net) outside lagos(Ilesa, i am from the area also) which means I have to relocate. It comes with an accommodation.

My car is in perfect condition but I don't have the will to continue this ehailing job.
Pls is it a good advice to take up the offer or I just continue my ehailing job, may be just weekend hustle?

Note: The job is just a managerial job and not too much stress in it.

My friend carry all ur properties and family and go for dat Job.. 100K in Ilesa is more Dan 250k as salary in Lagos, that's wia I grew up.

And now that d offer even comes with accomodation, U will soon buy land from dat salary and U can even be saving 60k monthly without stress.

You kukuma know my opinion on rentals. Anything below N30k as rental is just you opening shop for the driver.

However, considering the vehicle, I may just collect 25k but never below that. I will rather sell the vehicle than collect anything below 25k. The money realised from the sale will be enough to buy a better vehicle more suited for the hustle.

My weekend is fri - sat, I don’t drive on sundays
How many hours do you drive same as Nnamdi Kanuisagoat ? I will confirm next weekend maybe I’m down playing the car fuel consumption.
Though Once I net 15k I’m off for the day.
Net: is deducting 5k from net earnings on dashboard after app deduction.
What should I check in my car biko ?

Pls house what’s the definition of net with 5k fuel ?
1. Is it App Net (Net showing on Dashboard after App deduction )
or
2. Money in your pocket (after you minus fuel money from dashboard net )
Like I ve been saying what I see on dashboard is never in my account. It’s better for me to know how much I’m taking home as profit, rather than dashboard
