Thank you for the information bro... hope to fly to Ghana soon.

HorlarJP:

I went with airpeace and I booked it 135k, and you have to be with a covid test and yellow fever test!
But my friend booked his 81k but simply because I booked mine 2 days before the day i fly and he booked his a week before ! So the nearer the date you are flying the more expensive your ticket is

And also you have to show a $50 note because you will do another covid test on arrival at the Aiport in Ghana. The $50 will be payed on arrival instantly and you don’t have to pay any $50 for Ecowas stamping!
And for someone going for 14 days you have to do one in Nigeria tho Guys dey run am, then another one on arrival at Ghana Aiport and then another one after your 14 days !
I hope I have answered all your questions.

This 2 coins in naira = 100 naira
Because they are 50 pesos each making 1 cedi and a cedi is 100 naira .

And Ghana Ladies are so hot ! I wouldn’t want to remember Wetin my eye don see
Have you had chance to mingle with ghanaians in conversation, what can you say about their so called hostility against nigerians?

Ghana is a place for comfort and peace even though its expensive place to live in. Stable economy, good roads. Ghana of now is like Nigeria in the 90s. I have been living here since 2018 and ever since i left Lagos Nigeria,my life has been so peaceful. Although Ghana is not as beautiful as Nigeria, nor neither are they richer than Nigeria but there is a system that is working here. Ghana is a freedom country, no police harassment. God blessed the day I left the shores of Nigeria.

Official rate is actually 1cedis=65 naira whilst black market is 70 naira. Whilst growing up,I could remember how useless the franc xefa was, today naira and xefa are in the range. By end of this year, the francophone countries in West Africa including Ghana has introduced a new currency called eco currency. It is shame on Nigerian leaders.

They have no shame. So don't bother.

Just today in the news, Raymond Dokpesey - the beneficiary of the $2.1billion arms deal scandal was aquited by a court of law in dramatic fashion.

Basically $2.1billion gone down the drain

Imagine how many sophisticated weapons this money will buy if spent honestly/ diligently?

Imagine the state of the art hospital it will build for a country like Nigeria? For the record the president is currently away in a London hospital treating an undisclosed illness.

Or the massive upgrade it would do to our universities if invested there?

All in all bro, the country is gone to the dogs. Whosoever believe it will get better with this current status quo is doing so at his peril.

Even though Ghana is not as beautiful as Nigeria but the peace within the country is almost Unrivaled, no police harassment, yet there police are doing there jobs diligently asking for car papers and other thing they need to check and that’s all, haven’t heard about anyone caught stealing nor any cars colliding because even there drivers are in peace and road laws seem important here

Yeah about the job stuff in Ghana he need to chill and if he thinks he really need to leave Nigeria then he should be prepared ! No country is easy to work as a foreigner even the almighty Usa ain’t easy for blacks/foreigner , determination is all that matters. I believe if someone could be humble and start a car wash business in Ghana ,he might strive because earning 1000 cedis in a month is 100k in naira and he can do a bit better than Nigeria

The country is more than gone to the dogs, i lost hope finally the day i saw Tinubu as one of those contesting for the president in 2023 , should people even allow him with what happened at Lekki Toll Gate ! Omoh Nigeria is dead , a country killing its citizen ? One of the reason I can’t even give my blood/sweat for our motherland ! I have really lost hope in Nigeria , sad but true

As an average Nigeria youth if leaving Nigeria isn’t in your plan , I don’t know what you thinking of , though there are some people who are still patriotic

Such a decent country compared to what we have here.

I was chatting with a Facebook friend sometime ago and she told me electricity is quiet stable in Accra, I don't know how true it is.

Good morning !
Regards the Time zone Ghana is a hour behind Nigeria! And what I notice in Ghana again is the way they respect there traffic light. I will send some pictures regards that when I am out today! I have moved around a lot since I arrived 10 days ago now and every single time they respect there traffic light so much and you will never see a bike without an helmet here !
There traffic laws are really important to them and yes they still spend coins in Ghana lol funny but true , there coins are called Pesos .
Pesewas not pesos please.
Hope you are having fun....
Re: My Experience On A Trip To Ghana!.... by Derende(m): 5:52pm On Apr 02, 2021
You should have changed your naira to cedis in Nigeria before embarking on the trip. As at today cedis is 75 naira if you change in Nigeria.
But when you take the naira to Ghana it loses more value.

Oh...I lived in Nigeria for long before coming home. I think Nigeria is a great place but because the population is much it's difficult to satisfy the bulk. It will take great effort to fix Nigeria.
Ghana is small, and most importantly the masses still are able to hold the leaders to accountability.
Yes corruption is also here but in the working frame of the Nation people are serious. ECG works round the clock to make electricity available because everyone has prepaid meter.
Taxes are strictly adhered...that makes life expensive but things work.... unfortunately in Nigeria it's not so ...
Enjoy Accra as much as you can, make sure you holla next time you are around let's meet.
Hahaha... hope your neck is still intact... reference to comments about looking back at V6 and V8 bumbum! grin
