THE entire five South Eastern states of Abia, Anambra, Ebonyi, Enugu and Imo appear to be boiling and there is tension in most communities, no thanks to the renewed insecurity challenges in the zone. https://www.vanguardngr.com/2021/04/as-s-east-boils-police-disappear-from-roads-go-to-work-in-mufti/ 2 Likes 2 Shares

At Npkor near Onitsha, Anambra State, unknown gunmen drove to a police checkpoint and disarmed the security operatives. An eye witness said: “In my area, gunmen with white hummer bus, stopped at Nkpor Junction and disarmed five security men attached to TECNO plaza. There was no noise, no gunshot. The gunmen ordered the security men to just respect themselves and submit their guns. They did and they left smoothly” This made me almost laugh but on a more serious note , i think enough of police oppression , lets see if the boys can rest 152 Likes 7 Shares |

The federal Government should just disband the present police force , which is actually the most useless police in the world and constitute another police force, while the Soldiers particularly the non commissioned soldiers would all be retired and given their retirement benefits depending on the Number of years they have served , a new Police and Military should be constituted and the present milita that has produced stupid useless rogues should be disbanded 120 Likes 4 Shares |

Nigerian police is very useless. The only thing giving them any semblance of respect is the guns they carry. Even with the guns, they are not a match for any group that manage to arm themselves. 98 Likes 1 Share |

Before 2025, there will be a civil war in Nigeria. If you know you can't fight, find way leave Nigeria because Fulani people have already prepared for war and have invited all Fulani militants from all African countries to help them conquer Nigeria. Buhari prepared the grounds for them the moment he became President in 2015 by appointing mostly Hausa-Fulanis to all key security positions in Nigeria without respecting federal character. Igbos screamed and screamed, but Yorubas shut them up saying it's because Goodluck lost election, now see the outcome. Southern Nigerians, prepare for war, its coming closer. Fulani militants have encycled the entire Southern and Middle-Belt Nigerian forests 127 Likes 15 Shares |

kettykin: The federal government have refused to decentralize the police force because they want to control the architecture of policing in Nigeria my solution is that let the federal government continue until we can get an administration that will have the political will to decentralize the police but till then let every police officers be transferred to their state of origin in that way at least the officers will police their own. Look I know my suggestion will not in any way eliminate the problems of policing in the country but it will solve some of the problems because achieving effective policing, familiarity is the key when you understand the area, the people, language, and culture it makes it easy in policing. 19 Likes |

I have a cousin who recently joined the NPF, I severed my relationship with him immediately I got wind of it. The death of a Nigerian policeman means nothing to me weda related by blood, marriage or otherwise, absolutely nothing. 40 Likes 3 Shares |

EcoBrick: If Buhari and his Fulanis security operatives try to harass Igboho, I doubt if we wouldn't have the replica of what is happening in South East in the South West. This failed regime is making security operatives easy targets. The security operatives are already overwhelmed with fight against Boko Haram and bandits, it will be very unwise for them to have additional enemies. They already have ESN to battle with they should tread cautiously not to have another ESN like group in the South West that will be attacking security operatives. Any attempt to harass Sunday Igboho or kill him will lead to another armed group springing up in the West. Yorubas are quiet but they are not cowards. Infact this is a bad time to be a uniform personnel in Nigeria. Targeted by bokoharam, bandits, ESN and maybe another group is still coming up. To make the matter worse the government and their superior do not value them. Imagine loosing two pilots inside Nigeria territory and up till this moment, the NAF has failed to tell Nigerians what happened, they are just guessing and presuming that their flight might have crashed. ESN did nothing wrong before soldiers and Police (Abba Kyari team) were sent after them to kill and maim them, that is why ESN operatives are retaliating by killing uniform personnel. When has it become a crime to protect your people from killer herdsmen when the government fail to protect them. That is what ESN was doing before Buhari sent his Fulani Army after them. 84 Likes 3 Shares |

Mbanu now they should still wear their uniform with dignity. They can't face Herdsmen but show strength in the East. The day of reckoning will come. They should stop involving ESN in every calamity that befalls the east na. 25 Likes 1 Share |

The most peaceful region in Nigeria is gradually turning into a war zone. This is what happens when you have highly incompetent leadership. An unsophisticated leadership. A leadership of one way and an all size fits all. Other countries are marketing their countries for tourism, while in Nigeria, war zones are springing up by the day. 24 Likes 1 Share |

funkybroyouknow: We had exactly the same problem in the SE just a few weeks ago. But since the military and police attacked ESN in Orlu, the unknown gunmen have intimidated the police and the army out of SE roads. It may get to SS roads especially now that ESN is now in Eleme forests. Little by little 18 Likes |
