True, but also I noticed from the few I've met, there re quiet pple who speak up at the slightest provocation, they tell u how it hurts dem the moment u step out of line but they are quiet, and also there's the set that wave things by or bottle up things and only react wen they can't take it anymore or u pushed them to d line and they have no choice than to react.

This set of people at bolded wen they eventually let lose they either go out of line, cry in some cases or don't last in anger after few minutes or hours they are back to their normal self. Those that fall into dis category are either nice pple or softhearted folks.

I'm a quiet person myself, too quiet to the point none of my friends in skul den saw me angry for once and dis are close friends of mine we literally do everything together and for 5yrs+ they never saw me angry not once. The day I got angry cus someone took advantage of my quietness they were all surprised and I said somethings I shouldn't have said that night.

For those that are quiet and don't speak out, I know it's not easy some might not understand y I said it's not easy..... But I'll tell u what a friend told me recently;

At times,when some messed with me,i do stand up to them and get very aggressive,at other times,i will just feel like ignoring.

Sometimes ago(should have been up to a year now),i got a cab driver arrested with SARS(he was at fault sha,trying to take me for a ride cos of the quiet air around me).I noticed that after that experience,peoole who witnessed it start seeing me in a new light.

They're seeing you in a new light because the quiet guy they knew took action, not necessarily because you were loud. Many quiet people are usually unpredictable like you, and that's a great sign. Btw, being quiet is not docility. Docility is a weakness, not quietness. You can be quiet but full of action (or inaction).

Action here means doing what no one expects you to do.

Inaction here means not doing what everyone expects you to do as per Mr nice and quiet guy; not giving a f**k what they think.


A docile man on the other man is completely clueless in words and in actions.

Also, like I posted earlier, loudness only gets the attention of strangers. It works when you're in the midst of strangers. In the midst of people who know you so well, loudness turns a man to a joke. Agberos are a case in point. A JJC may take them seriously but a Lagos man knows too well...

Yes, as in introvert l will say it's a weaknesses somehow because you let go of so many things but one dengaroue thing about it is that, when your anger builds up, even Satan go surprise by your action.

However, there a big difference between being quiet and being weak.

Have you head Chinesse president rant on TV like his American counter parts. Asians are generally quiet but not weak.

I remember one day, my mum called and said, "People said they are afraid of you because you don't friends, you don't visit anybody and mind my business"

Meankness is the right word to be used, although foolish human see meakness as a sign of weakness but it is really the source of a spiritual strength against all odds

To be meak you must learn to break your will in many things. To live in ghettos or poverty communities, you must endure all things without complaint, and to persevere faithfully is not an easy thing.

Meakness is actually the elder brother of humility, i mean meakness is a higher virtue than humility.

If you would persevere in seeking perfection, you must consider yourself a nobody and be meak. If you would become meak, you must be content to seem like a fool in this life

It depends.

Let me use myself as an example, I'm a quiet person, I hate unprofitable and unnecessary arguments/conversations but that doesn't mean that if you trample on my rights of try to cheat me I'll play the mute role on you. It's then you'll know that I'm a tamed mad man.

Weakness in my own opinion can be defined as inability to speak up for yourself admist oppression.

Its is a sign of weakness to few people. Unfortunately those few people are lousy!...so foolish people think its the truth.Being quite is a sign of maturity and intelligence.

In Nigeria mostly "YES"

just sometime ago i was in a queue for something essential..as soon as I arrived, I noticed two elders come after me but were ushered to the front of the line..

Now this queue was no beans! When it finally came to me being the next to be attended to, two people older than me came and stood by me neglecting those behind me.. The attendant begged me to please let him attend to them first, i said 1 yes but 2 no because this is now close to 45 mins waiting, i raised my voice while voicing my displeasure on why is it so hard for organization to reign in this part of the world.. Some female attendants now started saying "Oga you no respect your elders"? Even some ppl behind me said young man calm down... I mean what could i do, the ppl that actually supported my tirade didnt talk but just told me calmly "pls dont vex soon it will be your turn"..

Alas it was now my turn.. But a lady came and was given higher priority than me because of she was a staff or connected somewhat.. I was seething..

Now the attendant now said to me pls can ypu allow this old Mama (another person) , i said NO!!!

ppl were just looking at me like look at this disrespectful person.. I didn't give 2 fxuks..

As it would be.. The female attendant that told me that i dont have respect previously now told the attendant that after me and the mama, the man should close up shop!!!

Lol can you imagine.. The ppl at the back now started groaning but the madam said sorry that its already late that they should come very early tomorrow morning to resume..

So you see my brother if I had not been a lil bit aggressive for my rights i would have been told to come back the next day after waiting about more than hour to get attended to..

So you see my brother, if you're right, stand up for your right, if you like keep quiet there, nobody will bat an eye at you.. Patience is not a virtue that most Nigerians have..
