Did Jesus Christ not say that He has not come to bring peace but to bring a sword?

Why do you feel you need to specially interprete whatever Jesus Christ say to you... are you ashamed of Him or something? Jesus said what He said. Rather than look for ways to interpret what He said why not let the Truth of God speak and Teach you His Truth?

Jesus Christ never said the sword meant division between believers and unbelievers...the Pharisees whom He warned His His against the Leaven of , believed in God..those who tortured and eventually killed Him, and then His disciples were in fact believers... yes, they believed in God, just not in the Truth of God.

So, if He, Jesus drove a sword between believers of His time, how can you then claiming to know better about the Truth of Jesus conclude that instead Jesus came to drive a sword between unbelievers and believers? If your Truth is far from the very Truth of Jesus Christ, should not begin instead to read your bible like you would a Novel so His truth can better sink in and rid you of the lies your belief is founded on?
