An unidentified man has been spotted cutting rail lines into different sizes at Holyghost area in Enugu state, IgbereTV reports.

Twitter user, @vicmela1 who asked for security operatives to be deployed to the scene, said the "man and his team" carry the rail lines to an unknown location after cutting it into different sizes.

I have known Igbos to be infrastructure vandals since I was a child. They were the ones that always vandalise street lights, traffic lights, road side railings, electrical installations and rail tracks. They tried with transformers too but usually get killed so they generally piped down on that. Each tribe with their wahala!

I sent my empty truck to Badagry on Friday night. What my driver saw ehh, e choke me. Do you know 10.30pm I had to transfer money to him to look for paga to settle police. Every few meters na checkpoint (his documents de complete oh). They did not ask for document but passage fee. Every check point between 200 to 500 naira
When he ran out of money, police no gree am pass again until I sent him money. The held on to thin and the vehicle until he settled.
This desperation for money is getting out of hand!
