This thread is so detailed and helpful, thanks to everyone contributing. I'm making plans to apply for schools once the admission window is open in October. I have been denied visit visa in the past from the Uk four times, will this affect my chance of getting a student visa into Norway? |

Evening .. trust your day was good. The issue of language it's the same thing I have heard from people in Norway. If you end up migrating to Norway you'll still have to learn the language as it opens up a whole lot of other opportunities. Temi06: |

Ayodeji1998:Learning a new language at an advance age is never easy mehn. I read somewhere on this thread that most Norwegians speak and understand English. |
Re: Nigerians In Oslo, Norway by Ayodeji1998: 2:46pm On Apr 10, 2021 |
yess you are right most Norwegians speak and understand English .. learning a language is not easy at all but learning it to a reasonable extent is something that must be done to be able to advance In the country. Please note: I am not speaking from experience but from what I got from the people there. You can get a menial job without speaking Norwegian one that can sustain your expenses but getting an office job requires an extent of Norwegian. Faculty14: 3 Likes |

Re: Nigerians In Oslo, Norway by omoadeyemi5: 7:32pm On Apr 10, 2021 |
student visa . UDI claimed the strict travel restrictions enforced on the 29th of January, 2021 prevents student from entering. So I guess my application was not completed before then. I submitted my application at vfs on the 4th of November last year. Arinze001: |

Speaking from experience and having to live in the Nordic country for 20years plus would kindly advice those who are aiming for a professional jobs to seek for that in a more sociable and English speaking countries. Don’t let the free education fool you, life in Nordic countries is hard and for an educated mind working as a cleaner isn’t really empowering if you ask me .. Ayodeji1998: 1 Like |
Re: Nigerians In Oslo, Norway by Arinze001(m): 9:30pm On Apr 10, 2021 |
ikswiss: Nice-nice! But you lived in the Nordic region for 20 years comfortably, how come? Some people are using Norway as a first stop in their itinerary plans, and if Norway provides comfortability for one, the person will definitely stay. I know you wouldn't agree more. To sum up, destinies are different. We pray for grace. 4 Likes |
