• Afenifere, Fasoranti give ex-gov nod

• ‘Time for Yoruba to speak in unison’
Traditional rulers in Ondo State have declared that now is the time for President Muhammadu Buhari and all northerners to reciprocate the support enjoyed from the South-West geo-political zone of the country ahead 2023 Presidency.

The Abodi of Ikaleland, Oba George Faduyile, who received the South-West Agenda (SWAGA) delegation in his palace at Ikoya, Okitipupa Local Council, alongside other monarchs from the area, yesterday, said Tinubu is capable to be President of the country.

The delegation visited the palaces of Abodi, the Osemawe of Ondo Kingdom, Oba (Dr.) Victor Kiladejo and the elder statesman and leader of the socio-political group, Afenifere, Pa Reuben Fasoranti, in his Akure residence.

Oba Faduyile noted that it would be wicked and saddening if the northerners would support another person against Tinubu, stressing that the former Lagos State governor is a reasonable leader who can rule the country.

“Tinubu has been supporting President Muhammad Buhari and the North for years, now is the time for the North and Buhari to reciprocate the good political gesture and support him,” he said.

According to him, no traditional ruler in the six states of the South-West geo-political zone would contradict the candidature of Tinubu.

Meanwhile, former Minister of Works and Co-ordinator of SWAGA, Dayo Adeyeye, reiterated that it was imperative for Yoruba people to speak in unison ahead of the 2023 presidential election to produce Buhari’s successor.

He said that the only way the South-West could get it right was to support Tinubu.

Receiving the SWAGA delegation in his palace, Kiladejo said it was important for all politicians in the South-West, especially the Yoruba, to shun enmity and discord among themselves to achieve the ambition.

Fasoranti, on his part, declared unflinching support for the APC National Leader’s candidature, saying: “Tinubu will have my support. I know him very well and he can do.”

One good turn deserves another. Without Asiwaju, there wouldn't have been APC, if there wasn't APC, there wouldn't have been a Buhari's Presidency. So Buhari has no excuse not to support Jagaban, except he wants to be an unfortunate ingrate.

Funny enough ...if north west and north east give south west same 55% south west gave ....south west would lose the election

Anything short of 70% in the core north APC would lose by 2.5 to 3.5 million votes

2023 like 2019 is PDP to lose

If PDP had presented kwankwaso in 2019 it would have been an easy election to win

2023 just don't put your house together honestly

Preferably ...stick an igbo man upthere ...with a strong northern vice

90% of south east sure
75% of south south sure
60% of north central sure
35% of south west sure
If they can get 45% in north east and even 30% in north west it's game over for APC

A Tinubu presidency would cause a lot of uncontrollable parallel Governance in Nigeria.. the security outfits would be too weak to checkmate it coupled with the extreme division then. political assassination of politicians of certain regions would be evident mostly on the legislative level.. honestly it would not augur well for Nigeria at all. Due to the mayhem, the Tinubu presidency may be highjacked militarily which would cause issues in the SW, the democracy of Nigeria itself and the already raging issues in the SE then. The spate of unemployment and hunger would be so terrible banditry and kidnapping would be the main occupation up North due to overstretch of the security outfits. The only safe zone may be the SS while Nigeria attains refugee status.

It may be an entire collapse of everything.. (let us pray against it).

This is how Tinubu is seen here in the North, he is not popular among the Talakawa and middle belt people, the core North elites are just deceiving him

For God's sake we shouldn't have someone like Tinubu or those old crooks as presidential candidates in this era. They are part of the reasons we are here today as a nation, that was how Buhari was repackaged for Nigerians and now look at the untold suffering amidst heavy corruption we are facing right now.

Nonsense
We don't need old crooks with cluelessness and greediness past and present to be in leadership positions.
We need Youths with empathy and visionary capabilities irrespective of their tribe , gender & political affiliations to salvage this country from the all encompassing challenges she is currently going through.

With this turn by turn

Rip to a future, it is clear Nigeria will have no future

To my fellow youths do you now see that Nigeria is not for you?

Our grand dads will keep passing this positions of power between themselves till the day they die

Little wonder some celebrate when they hear news of the death of politicians

Truth be told, aside marking register and satisfying self ego, what did Tinubu has to offer.......

How I wish we can just look away from these old fools and support a good youthful candidate, we need to snatch the country from these old idiots that cannot earn a dime outside free politics money.

So among all the Yoruba politicians they chose to stick with Tinubu after the EndSars saga and the 50million donations to Kaduna?

What happened to the likes of Osinbajo, Makinde and even Fashola?

The North doesn't like Tinubu and are just playing games with him

But the issue is that before these old selfish and greedy elders will realise their mistake, it would have been soo late

I still keep repeating it, supporting Tinubu to become President is like planning to return power to the North in few years time...I mean, from all indications BAT doesn't look healthy enough to lead an ailing country like Nigeria.

Why can't he just support one of his political sons to run...like Osinbajo?

Must we continue to support defective people to lead this country? A country where an healthy President doesn't guarantee a positive turn around, not to talk of an ailing one...truly people deserve the kinda leaders they have.
