Good evening all,

I am very new here, I will like to use this opportunity to commend the effort of everyone.

I will like to ask ..... i did an upfront medical since the 24th of march and till this morning, I haven't gotten any response nor result

Should i continue to wait or is their something i can do?

It is possible you might not receive the confirmatory message sent to you by the clinic that your result has been sent perhaps due to a system glitch.

This is what you can do - contact the clinic where you did your medical exam. Send them an e-mail then follow up with a phone call that you are yet to receive a message from them on the medical exam.

Once they confirm to you that your result has been sent to the embassy, you can then send the e-medical sheet given to you at the clinic to IRCC via a webform and notifying them (IRCC) that your result has been sent by your panel of Physician on ........... ( quote the date and name of the clinic).

All the best.

Thanks for your opinion. But does it mean that the waiver and the document I intend to get wouldn't have any positive effect on my application without sitting IELTS, especially as I read English in the university?

U see this race, just do what is asked of you. We all read English in the university but a number of us still write the ielts. IRCC demanding for ielts from Nigerians as a requirement for NSE are fully in the know that English is our first language. That doesn't mean your application won't be processed but through NSE; will be at the discretion of the VO. My advise, just write it cause the wait for NSE is draining how much more through normal route. Dont be at their mercy

Either first time application or Reapplication...

Been going through background check for a month now, hope it’s still safe

Honestly I don't, I'm just saying why risk it. VOs already look for any flimsy excuse to deny someone, why make it easy for them

Hello everyone, who has gotten an offer letter from CNA( college of the North Atlantic, Newfoundland and Labrador) for Fall intake?
When did you apply and which course?
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 18 by Onaya(m): 7:53am On Apr 07, 2021
Thanks a lot, @MsJanez01. When I said that I read English in school, I meant that I studied English as a course in the university, and have a degree in it, not merely as a taught language .
And that is one major point that the waiver from my school emphasizes.

On the other hand, I am still waiting to hear people's opinions/advice regarding my bank account which hasn't been engaged in meaningful transactions for a year now: if it wouldn't be any issue when my brother transfers 2m to it for my POF.

Different people with different application timeline....

Me for example, I got medical request 21st of january, did my medical that same day. Medical request was updated to pass on the 28th of January. PPR dropped 1st of Feb. Just hope for the best.

It will surely end in praise

Good morning everyone. Who here has gotten arrival approval from memorial?. After the visa wait then one still have to wait for arrival approval. There is God. All this thing just tire me. Me that I thought I'd travel by April ending or May first week. I'd have to apply for arrival. Which still feels like visa wait.

you'd have to fill a form, wait till they approve it before you can start your travel plans. This form must be filled after you have gotten visa. You can't travel without the approval
P.S its for memorial students

I used the school for my first application that was delayed. I requested for admission deferral to Sept 2021 she rejected the request that I should pay for another application fee which I did and the admission took almost 5 months, by feb 2021 when it came out I have already gotten admission in another school and applied for student visa in January 2021. The CNA acceptance letter is in my email It's not necessary anymore. Like Frankrobbn told me to avoid that school. Look for another school. Jordan Chanda will delay you.

Hey here! Good morning.

I am noticing that many persons are not meeting IRCC 6.0 across different sections and still being advised to use it. Looks to me that we are the reason why IRCC is asking for IELTS.

You reason it, if out of 20 Nigerians that apply for visa, 10 didn't meet their minimum requirement, does that not justify their reason for requesting for it in the first place? I was once told that schools in the US wanted to stop asking for TOEFL from Nigerians, but they couldn't, cos our results were never really good like guys from Zambia and Ghana. I think we are more focused on leaving Nigeria than leaving the right impression. Please, let's endeavour to sit tight for these exams, ace them very well and submit afterwards. If peradventure you didn't do well(I.e. didn't meet their requirement), it is advisable to re-take the test. I feel most Nigerians can score 6.0 and above in all sections of the IELTS test, at least those that are educated should be able to do this effortlessly. But then, some us don't sit tight to prepare, we are more focused on the end-goal than the process.

My point: if we keep using scores that don't meet their requirements, we are giving them strong reasons for them to keep requesting for this. Very soon, Canadian universities would make it compulsory for Nigerians to submit IELTS result because of their bad performance during visa application. Shalom!

Honestly speaking, I was not delayed in getting admission there, and my mails were all replied very fast. The only that happened was that I was deferred to this year September. Even with my poor waec grades, I was accepted though with good higher institution grades. But why did Frankrobbn ask you to avoid the school, can you tell me?

Hello,

I was supposed to drop a message concerning this.

Please if anybody with a similar case should call the clinic and ask for the status of their health case.

I did upfront medicals at IOM on 24th and after calling and emailing yesterday, they said they had already sent my health case to IRCC since 26th, that's two days later. And I didn't get any email or SMS concerning that.

If you did your medicals at IOM, kindly give them a call. You'll get directions on what to do.

IT WILL END IN PRAISES!
