War will never benefit both sides, wars never happen as planned. The support of the people you have today may dissappear tomorrow and the war ESN is clamoring for will take several decades on their own land with their own people being the most casualties. The several tribes you are counting on might betray you when it all starts(exactly the way Ojukwu counted on Awolowo). In the end whether win or lose, the cost will be too great and that region will be set back by several decades.

Also the vast majority of Nigeria's gas reserve is offshore.
Awolowo and Ojukwu never had an agreement.

Stop that herdsmen nonsense no sensible person will believe that, the only place that experience fula militia attack is Ebonyi what is ESN doing in Anambra, Imo, Abia, Delta & Rivers? still hunting Herdsmen? tell that nonsense to the dogs.
There are more kidnappers & armed robbers in the east than herdsmen, while hunting your fictitious herdsmen you jailbreak kidnappers & murderers, arm an assortment of drug addicts then expect my support is that not madness?
We dont need any herdsmen militia in the SE, we need anti kidnapping militia.

"Fictitious militia herdsmen"?
What's the primary reason Amotekun was hurriedly put together? this are the sentiments your likes in power project while the people on ground know and feel the real issues disturbing them and easily believe or follow secessionists that promise to offer protection.
I know your type and giving you attention is not worth it, you are just an irritant that thinks loyalty to a gov't in power is patriotism, I pity you. For those of us that really wants the progress of this country we will keep on saying it as it is irrespective of who is in power or whose ox it gores.

Infact rivers state polytechnic land is owned by an Ijaw man it was consfisticated by the federal government because he fought on the Biafran side. What many people don't know is that alot of Ijaw sons lost their properties to Ikwerres during the abandon property saga in Rivers.

Now I understand fully well why guerrilla warfare lingers till eternity..
I was in my workplace today, almost all the people i have encountered directly or indirectly cheered the perpetrators of imo state prison break.

Even most learned people,my families even me somehow was influenced and I started having soft spot for them/ipob ESN.

You see, some warfare aren't won by military might but by negotiation and enlightenment.

Now I can tell you many youths will pick up arms in sympathy with nnamdi kanu/Biafra cause..
Now when this starts and it somehow affects me or my relatives, I won't have any other option than to pick up arms either in sympathy or in retaliation. This is also applicable to most and everyone.

I believe this is exactly the case of boko haram and other militia groups.

The fg will be a fool to play to ipob gallery and unleash war because they will surely add it to the queue of unending wars in its gallery.
This is so complicated but I must tell you.. if this is the case, then we re in for a long ride in this country..
Although I pray nothing of such escalates.

Stop all the back and forth of internal squabbles of tribe and ethnicity. It has got us no where in the past and won't now. This is 2021 not 1967. Rational heads should be suing for peace.

Meanwhile with the Nigerian military as a continum and modernization apace the arrival of the VT-4 tanks in my opinion Africa's most advanced with other modern armour for the Army and the JF-17 Thunder Jets for the NAF the Nigerian Armed Forces has now military superiority in sub-saharan Africa and changed the balance of power in the entire region with Egypt, Algeria and external power France.

Priority right at the top of chain of command

MILITARY AND SECURITY AGENCIES CONDUCT JOINT OPERATION AT NTAK IKOT AKPAN IN ESSIEN UDIM LGA OF AKWA IBOM STATE

The general security situation in Akwa Ibom state has been very peaceful until recently when the security situation around Essien Udim Local Government Area of the State became tensed occasioned by activities of some hoodlums and criminal elements. The miscreants exploited various avenues to acquire weapons to perpetrate their heinous crimes. In the past few weeks, the group has attacked various security agencies which resulted in the loss of lives and carting away of weapons. The last incident led to the killing of some Policemen including a CSP. The hoodlums continued to terrorise law abiding citizens through extortions and infringement on their rights.

Consequently a combined team of Military and Security Agencies in the State conducted a clearance operation at Ntak Ikot Akpan to in order to flush out the miscreants. The operation was successfully executed and resulted in the dislogment of the criminals while fleeing hoodlums were neutralised by the Air Component.

Normalcy has been restored in the area while the Police personnel have since assumed full control and carrying out normal duties.

Members of public are advised not to panic but to remain calm and continue to support the security agencies to further consolidate on the successes recorded so far.

You are kindly requested to disseminate this information to the general public through your medium.

Thank you for your usual cooperation.

It feels good to have bragging rights. Nigeria the giant of Africa and Africa's superpower. But we all know things are not looking good for the Nigerian people, there is need for political justice, economic and social justice for peace to reign.

Unsurprisingly I see two camps here arguing for or against the "gunmen" in the south east, mostly the Igbo's for (not all) and other people against. There are good reasons for the agitation but the way they are going about it is wrong. If what is happening right now should spiral out of control (God forbid), I pity the people in the south east. There's no assurance that they will be able to achieve what they want but one thing is surely constant in wars, that place will be laid waste and lives will be lost. How do you rebuild? Even on this faceless forum, we are at each others neck, let's calm down for a minute and try to proffer peaceful solutions. Those in support of the deployment of the army and those supporting the activities of the gunmen are in the comfort of their homes with a phone or laptop stoking the embers of war but will be the first to run to the border as refugees (dem no want fight but dey push other people to go die). Finally, an eye for an eye makes everyone blind.

When I read his here...I realise the reason blacks are at the bottom of totem pole....something is fundamentally wrong with black man

A group of people have been marginalised, maligned and called 7%

They be made it clear they want out or a level of autonomy

Can't we copy from whites the way they handled the British in EU

can't we call for dialogue ...why must the black man do gragra

Ask the south east what they want them meet them at middle ground

Igbo are pretty stubborn from 1967 till date they habe been angry ...I mean generational Ange why cant the country engage them in conversation.

This is what right thinking People do...not these gagragra

What is wrong with the negro man ?

What's up with that NAFs movie? I heard the numbers from the cinema is not encouraging, upon all the hype ( though mostly on SM). They should have courted the likes of AY & Ramsey Noah to help with marketing strategies because AY always make it big at the box office, same for Ramsey Nouah's remake of Living in bondage I don't think this movies have more budget and story line than "Eagles Wings". abeg make Nigerians go watch that movie so that NAF will be encouraged to do more collabos with Nollywood in the future.

Has the missing alpha jet been found?
Heard the air force rubbished the story that it was found in Bama(or is it Baga?) some days ago.
If indeed it hasn't been found till now, its worrisome

In the fog of war though rare mysterious things happen like in this case however closure is needed in honor of the fallen, the NAF and nation.

I watched it in akwa ibom
We were just 3 in the cinema sad,
Maybe because it isn't the normal nigerian kind of movie laced with rituals and all that...
I enjoyed the story line but a lot needs to be done on the graphics(gunshot and missile)..5/10 for me
