HAVE FAITH IN HIS NAME

Acts.3.16 - And his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong..... the faith which is by him hath given him this perfect soundness....

Peter had nothing with him to give to the man at the beautiful gate, but he could recall the words of Jesus, shortly after his resurrection telling them of the wonders they would work in his name mark 16:17-19.

His faith was established on the name of Jesus, he had no doubt that the name would heal the lame man. He refused to be accredited for the miracle, but rather glorified the name.

Whatever situation we find ourselves, let's use the name of Jesus. Let it be our Confidence. All power has been invested on the name. Let's call it with faith, and in expectation, believing him to do what he say's. Rom 10:13.

What is Faith?
What does it mean to have Faith in His name as declared by Peter ?
Does faith in the name of Jesus Christ amount simply to that wish humans regard as confidence?

Having faith in the name of Jesus is believing in The power of Jesus to save, heal, and deliver.

If this is all it takes, then why did Peter, and all the other apostles, abandon everything they had, leaving even family and friends behind, to spend 3 and half years wandering from town to town with Jesus Christ submitting to His teachings and command?
