Yeah it's DIY, made payment on the 11th of March, submitted the documents on the 19th and I got scanned on the 31st(the scanning was prolonged due to my negligence and tight work schedule)...
The collection date on the paper I was given after scanning is I think 7th of April but I know it's a scam, cos there are people who have captured since September last year their passports isnt out yet... Ibadan immigration office is something else..

A friend applied for his passport at Ibadan since January and till date no booklet. The immigration officer said their Ogas went to Abuja last week and were told the booklets are still unavailable.
Lagos is issuing passports but the Ibadan officer said it’s harmonised passport and he cannot reapply elsewhere cos he already applied/ did biometrics in Ibadan for the old passport.
Is it possible for him to change his application to harmonised/Lagos?

If you'll be DIY, please avoid ikoyi passport office, unless you want to pay huge amount of money.

1. Regarding any additional fees I'm not sure I have the correct answer; mine wasn't DIY.
2. I did mine at HQ ABJ. I really don't know how true it is but I was told corrections can only be effected there.

Passport expiration is always on your birthday on the 5th year of the passport if your passport carries 5yrs exp. date.

Eg. If you applied for passport (5yrs) in April and was issued to you same April, 2021 and your birthday is in 30 december, that means your passport will expiry 30 december 2026.

This is not correct sir. I did capture on the month of march, got it April. Issuance on passport says march 2021,expires march 2031. That birthday system is for driver's license.
