I keep telling people there are close substitutes here and at a cheaper rate. Why trouble yourself when you know you would be spending most of your life here?

Or rather, why risk fines and seizures when you can avoid it.

Except things have changed which I doubt, there are no implications of adding spouse post AOR.

Your score is locked post AOR. I added my spouse post COPR and the only thing I had to do was return my passport for a new COPR and submit the required documents for my spouse. Including all the required proof of marriage (Marriage certificate, pictures during the relationship etc).

Most importantly proof of funds needs to be adequately increased for you and your spouse.

The only implication here would be not notifying IRCC of your marriage which is definitely misrepresentation. So technically you only have one option, which is to notify IRCC.

Personally I prefer the one they sell at superstore to the one from Naija. It reminds me of the quality milo we had when we were younger. Naija own just taste like sand, nothing rich or creamy about it.

Me too.... It's so interesting that when I got used to the noodles here( no name brand - pack of 24 is less than 5 dollars) , the naija noodles now tasted funny in my mouth....plus that is 5 times the price of the the noodles here....

For me oooo.... Milo here tastes better than naija Milo, and it costs way less....

Custard, and sugar.. I've heard that milk won't fly

Yes you can, just ensure you go with your study permit and enrolment letter ( you can also go with transcripts and any other documents you feel maybe needed) because they will ask for it. I did this too a few years back because I didn’t want to apply for PGWP twice since they will only give me for the validity of my passport .

Yeah the naija one now tastes like cardboard (in the words of my cousin).

Especially for those of us with young children, there's no need clinging onto 'naija' stuff. So long as I do my best to ensure they can recognise and eat naija food, the milo they drink doesn't matter.

No frills sells starch. I saw palm oil there recently. They also sell semo, rice flour (two shinkafa), corn meal (tuwo masara). And walmart sells Egusi.

However I try to patronize African stores whenever prices are similar, just to support local business.

I don't live in Canada but your post here caught my attention. Bring everything(food related)you want to bring regardless if there is an abundance of same things in Canada.

I am one of those that left Nigeria many years ago and till date cannot eat noodles made here, or bouillon cubes that is not Knorr. I don't drink Milo and I don't buy sugar, so can't really say much about those ones but sugar is same everywhere so there might be no need for it

I have tried several bouillon cubes, noodles e.t.c and I can never get used to them so I end up going back to my knorr and naija noodles. I don't care if they costs me a arm and a leg, I wil buy them. I usually buy from Nigeria whenever I visit

If you end up liking their noodles in Canada or bouillon cubes then nothing spoil. If you don't, you have your Nigerian ones to fall back on.

I was advised not to bring some naija food ingredients and I listened to my advisors and regretted it cos then I ended up paying more to buy those same ingredients here

You won't really need Bluetooth speakers except it's one you own already and want to bring with you but no need buying one. You won't need extensions
