Do I have to show just the £7500 for a year or the total £15,000

Yes for majority but they do call some for interview so be prepared just incase

Admission to Coventry University, paid(4k) part of the tuition as requested, submitted bank statement for CAS, but its taking them almost forever to give CAS. I am getting worried. Is there someone here that is in Coventry or that is going there and has gotten CAS from them? Please what is the process or how did yours go or that of anyone you know?

Transfer the money to your account. Your husband can't be your sponsor but your parents.

I think because they are attending to may intake now, September intakes wont come accross as priority. This is just my opinion.

There’s no modicum of possibility to this proposal.

A few questions though which I'll love to get answers from the gurus here.

I have offers from about 10 Universities in the UK but I have narrowed it down to 3 actually which are
Teeside University (MPH 2 years with internship)
Northumbria University (MPH 1 year)
University of Glasgow (MPH 1 year)

I am expecting a positive decision from UofG by month-end as regards Scholarship as the cost is very high (£23,500) so it is my first on the log.
Teeside is cheap @£7,500/session and I also have a discount of 2,000 so it is my back up plan here.
Northumbria is the 3 on the log here because of cost too.

My questions are as follows:
1. Can I go for my PhD immediately after the MPH and won't it affect the 2 years post graduation work visa? That is, can I apply for it after the PhD? And can I attend another University apart from the one I want to do my MPH?
2. Planning to go with family. Can my wife who will be a dependant also apply into the University when she gets there? As in can she go to school in part time?
3. Please what is the prospect of getting work and living expenses in Middlesbrough, Glasgow and Newcastle?

@justwise and others please help with these questions.

Answer to question 1 = Yes. You only get the PGWP if you apply for it. if you don't, you won't be given. And you can apply for the second study visa without having to prove funds.

Coventry doesn’t issue CAS till may/June for September but if you disturb them, they’ll answer you eventually. I’m going there but London campus.

Is this how they really delay? because a friend said her own came out is less than 4 days

i think it depends on the type of document you submitted

they usually approve your bank statement before issuing CAS letter.

Also, because lectures in the UK are still online with planned blended learning coming up soon.

UKVI and Universities are no longer under pressure to meet enrollment dates.


But contact them and push for the release of your cas letter

You can enroll online and travel to the UK even after May, June, July

Well Cardiff is a far better university than Bournemouth , and regarding student and graduate jobs Cardiff also has an edge but pre COVID could change a lot of things job wise.

If not that Bournemouth ranking is poor I would have suggested you take their admission since you have soft landing there and affordable fees

it's very OK to use your husband's account. For visa application, let him also be applying as your dependant. For pre-CAS, explain to them that he's your husband and you'll be applying with him.

If he is not applying with you, then put the money in your account and count 28 days or more.

Well, I got a £2,000 discount while some others got £1,500. The discount applied only for the first year.

The balance to be shown will be £1,500 or £2,000 as the case may be.

I wanted to let you know that we have passed your application for MSc Computer Science onto the admissions tutor to review. We are currently waiting on the outcome of their review and we will update you as soon as we hear back.
