Shut up, you dunce.

Nigeria then was a feeding tap to the British treasury, which, in case your dumb head doesn't realise, was the whole reason for colonialism in the first place - to LOOT your resources and enrich the colonist's homeland.

That is why at the time this picture was taken, there wasn't a single university or power plant in Nigeria, despite the British having ruled for half a century, while extracting and exporting your resources.

It was why literacy was under 10% (compared to 70% today courtesy of black rule and investment in public education.).
you
So your ''relevance'' then was as a slave nation feeding Britain and nothing else.

Mumu generation. Don't go and learn your history.you to like talk. Just shutup and pass Mr

onitsha people don't do this hereditary stuff in igweship
there's a criteria of selecting the igwe and there are villages in onitsha that can produce an igwe and there are those that can't.

No be the same foolish Zik delayed independence of Southern Nigeria to have the North ready so that Nigeria can gain independence together.

The costliest mistake, one your father, you n your unborn generation will suffer the agony n take to your grave until you admit that mistake n let the world understand that Nnamdi Azikiwe was a selfish bastard that lack vision and intelligence for fighting to unite northern n southern Nigeria. A regret your unborn generation must taste from.

But it is the same people who say that Zik delayed independence to accomodate the North , that are today shouting 'one Nigeria' the most.

So if you still support 'one Nigeria' like Zik did more than 60 years ago, what's the difference between you and Zik?

it would have been captured. When the Queen bowed to Haille Selassie it was captured. When royals go about their duties, such details are NEVER overlooked.

Don't blame him. He was just interested in uniting black people, having come from USA of Jim Crow of those days. He inadvertently screwed Igbo people!

Things were not good during colonialism, you ignoramus.

A footpath led to your village, not a road, and everyone in your family was an illiterate peasant.

Be thankful for independence which brought you to your current level.

How many people had cars then, to warrant a road?

You will have to bring your own picture to prove it..... Because seeing is believing.

You want us to believe an assumption over a clean clear picture? Like really?

forward 60 plus years of self-rule and is there a world class university or power plant in Nigeria?
They did same in India, Ghana, Hong Kong but today can you look at those countries and say they have not benefitted from self-rule one way or the other? Can the same be said about Nigeria a.k.a neega area, a british experiment, created as a mere means of convenience.

i get your sentiment however let us never get carried away, we are still under colonial rule till this day. the fulanis replaced the british, as the overlords, and now rule indirectly. Azikiwe and Awolowo should have known better and could have done better. The Southern part of Nigeria had no business being with the North. The differences were always there and are still evident till this very day. The writing was on the damn wall. The results are as we see till this very day and it is not a mere coincidence.
