wanaj0:Very mature, experienced and honest statement. No one knows the lowest or highest. So dont flog yourself if you but at 33 snd it drops to 31. It could as well rise to 38. Some bad blokes simply love breaking the hearts of newbies for their selfish end. If you dont invest now, how do you know whether you would struggle to buy at 38, what you regused to buy at 33? Once you have decided to buy a stock at a point in time, i dont think 29, 31, or 33 makes any difference to your investment goal. Keep calm brothers. Thank you Wanajo, one of our sincere legends! 11 Likes |

Good question, well I dont have any insurance policy with them. Even if I do, that cant determine anything, as i will just be one tiny client out of a very large pool. Now my reason for the recommendation is based on me studying their financial reports over the years. With a growing revenue, PAT and EPS. They are both close in scaling the recapitalisation target of 10billion. If the growth trend is maintained, they should be able to clear their negative retained earnings and will be able to declared dividends once again. Currently selling at 20kobo per share, what is there to lose. Stocks with higher P.E ratio are selling higher. My 20kobo advise. DO APPLY DUE DILIGENCE. wanaj0: |

Fintech like Trive does this, i have witnessed it. It tells us it is intentional. quote author=Omoadetide post=100600676] Someone once said they do this on purpose to discourage people from claiming their dividends and it sure looks like that. In many other countries, you don't need to track dividend payment dates or chase registrars to get your dividend. That automatically goes to your stockbroking account from where you bought the stock in the first place and then you choose if to reinvest it or have it paid out to your registered bank account. That doesn't sound like rocket science, but This is Nigeria![/quote] |

So sad everything is so complicated in Nigeria. Reason why lots of people are moving to foreign stocks. Why would shareholders have to state quantity the bought? keeping records of such should be the job of registrars and stockbrokers. Too much stress for shareholders emmasoft: |

Everything here is about dividends, how much will be paid, when and how it'll be paid. That's where the clueless SEC being led by Yuguda, a square peg in a round hole, wants all of us to come put our money in. A market where only banks make profits in every quarter, and share prices depend heavily on amount of dividends dished out to investors already reduced to "beggars of dividends". Innovations that impact positively on and drive companies' share prices are unheard of. Tufiakwa! Yuguda, what i have in your moribund NSE is the spare of my spare of my spare of my spare of my spare of my spare of my spare .............money. And so shall it remain. 5 Likes |
