Ok. You applied during the application fee waiver period, same here also. Congratulations once more. I applied to the school but for a Masters in Quantitative Economics. The last mail I got from them about 4 days ago was that my application file has been moved to my department for admission reviewing and decision.
Do you have any news on how to go about graduate assistanship application after receiving a positive admission decision from them or have you applied for a Graduate Assistantship position?

Thanks. I wish you all the best. Congrats in advance. Based on the assistantship, you have to apply online. You must submit your SOP and send recommendation letter for that. If you have already submitted that, no need again. Just apply online. Go to google, then search Wiu assistantship form, then you will see it.

They sent me an email to send proof of fund but i have not sent yet- I want them to give me admission first . Do you think why they have not moved mine is as a result of this reason? I have a friend that they sent the same email to send proof of fund and he didn't send but he got admission last week. I just wonder!

An email from the international admissions office was sent to me to provide my electronic transcripts through etx ng, but the problem is I heard some bad reviews about etx Ng online about how it takes months for them to process transcripts and the deadline for documents submission is approaching.
Please what do I do, should I send the hardcopy of my transcripts directly from my school to western Illinois university.

Since your school specifically asks you to use etx.ng, you should contact the admissions office if you have a reservation about etx.ng.

It is upto your admission office to decide if they will allow you to use dhl/ups or they won't. But you should email them first.

Got Ph.D fully funded. Did interview with an Asst. Prof and we exchanged mails but might be rejecting it. I don't know yet. I think I applied around late feb.

I have a masters with some good publications.

You mean applying to the schools? Yes it's too early. Schools won't even be accepting fall 2022 applications now. What you can do if you haven't is prepare ahead of time. Write exams, send transcript to Wes (if you are evaluating), start mailing GCs about funding and professors about RA. Get your references ready so that recommendation letters won't be a problem when the time comes.
Then around September, you can start applying to the schools.
