Miracle4all:that is the true church . Jesus preached to the multitudes and felt their hunger and gave them 5loaves of bread. If a pastor likes let him preach from Genesis to revelation, if a poor man is looking for what to eat and a rich man is busy flaunting his wealth in church, then that isnt a true church. |

The early church survived by sharing among themselves what they had, but we now have churches where the leader has favourite members that's those that are rich, churches where the leader has jets and cars while most members suffer. Our present day church has derailed from the ethics and principle of what a church should be. |

There is connection between spiritual prosperity and physical prosperity. If people know God, they will prosper for God will provide there needs. How? That God will fashion out. The scripture says seeks first the kingdom of God and all these others will be added unto you. Mr. Pastor bring your congregation to authentic knowledge of God (that is assuming you yourself understand what this is) and bringing your people to physical prosperity becomes an easy task for you. |

I am glad someone has raised the point of who is more important, the building or the people? In the Old Testament emphasis was laid on building temples rather than the people because God’s dwelling place then was the temple. But now attention has shifted to the people rather than the temple. Sadly, we are still stuck building temples rather than people. Do everything you can to build this people spiritually, financially and physically. After they have been built they will build the church. |

Miracle4all: You are absolutely correct man of God. Hardship is the number one reason why many people can't care less about God. How can they believe in a God who allows them go on suffering. Sometimes you can't even go to this people to tell them about God except you have enough food they can put in their belly otherwise they won't even listen to you. But the bigger problem is that many men of god these days are so focused on the wrong things. Shouting 'tithe tithe tithe!!!' everyday but they won't even use the tithe to help the widow and the orphan and the poor among them. Rather to build more and bigger structure so they can be boasting all over the place. I am confused and tired of the whole scenario. 1 Like |

RuddyFusion: I agree with you that ... the spiritual control the physical.... However, we cannot wish away the poor leadership in the country for so many years.... Dat has brought poverty, extreme hunger and misery 2day. As far as the earth remains, seed time and harvest time shall not cease. It is what we sow that we are reaping. |

1Sharon:I guess you want me to show you pictures but I won't do that... From the days of John the Baptist the kingdom of God sufferent violence and only by violence you will take it by force... For we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principalities, against powers against spiritual wickedness in higher places..... There's nothing like religion with sense...The gods of this world don't respond to gentility but to power and violence |

kalu61:Check the foundation of those so called developed countries.... The word said....'Seek ye first the kingdom of God and it's reightouness and all other things shall be added to you Secondly the word said .."That the children of this world have become wiser than the children of light... There are rules, laws and principles that governs the universe, once you know them and apply it, you will get same results regardless of who you are... That's one of the mysteries of Life |
Re: My Experience As A Pastor by Professorcplus(m): 12:42pm On Apr 11, 2021 |
kalu61: Hahaha RuddyFusion believe everything happening in Africa has spiritual background. Why you believe otherwise. Imagine if two of you were partner. Why does she believes so. Three things influence what a man would be. *People you move with *The environment you grew up from and *The books and materials you consume. It will only be a waste of time trying to change people's ideology.... You can only influenced them. The Pastor might truly feel concerned about his members predicaments... But let his ministry grow more bigger his intentions would be to guide the interest of his ministry by competing with other bigger churches to building biggest auditorium and acquiring more members so the money can keep flowing in without caring about the warfare of his sheeps. Which is why I don't fancy big churches. 1 Like |

You didn't answer my questions anyways. RuddyFusion:The rules, laws and principles are good leaders, good leadership, excellent justuce system and citizens that understand law their rights under the law, need to have good leaders, taking decision without religious sentiment etc. Religion is African problem, take it off leave it. |
