The players were majorly interested in playing over the top, trying to find the run of Rashford in the first half. Tottenham players were ready for that and defended that very well. In the second half the team decided to put the ball on the ground more and play much better with the ball.

I know people will say its a bias take, but truth must be said. Dean Henderson was very outstanding yesterday, making crucial saves and very calming presence in the box and cut out certain dangers by perfectly sweeping the dangers off with excellent timing. Most importantly he is very vocal. I saw him towards the end barking orders at Maguire and Lindelof to move up the pitch.

We have been asking for a fast defender because pacy opponents make us vulnerable, Henderson cut out 3 certain attempts on goal yesterday that i remember off my head by reacting very quick, and when you realise its Kane/Son charging at those ball, you know the outcome. Goal keeping is not just making reflex saves from attempts you should have cut out since, modern goalkeeping require you will be good on the ball, be a proper sweeper, command your box with authority and organise your defence well , as well as making reflex saves as the cases may be. TBH, Henderson ticks these boxes better than all our current GKs.

Without these qualities we will be restricted to just counter attack because our backfive will be hesitant to be adventurous
