Yekini was a force of nature. A relentless train that wouldn't be stopped until he had found the back of the net. Yekini did not have the explosive pace of Martins or Aghahowa, The raw power of Amokachi, Yakubu or Emenike, The guile and trickery of Siasia, Kanu and Ike Uche. What stood him out for me was his passion and drive to score, from powerful golazos to intelligent use of space Rashidi was simply awesome. I see a lot of that similar drive and determination in Osimhen. One of the reasons why I'm so supportive of the boy. hope he can leave up to the expectation. TheSuperNerd: 3 Likes 1 Share |

andrewbaba44: When Agu was playing week in week out Rohr ignored him just like he did with Onyekuru who every "sane" person knows merited to be in the team abead of Moses Simeon. If it wasn't for the fact that Iwobi was down and Kalu and Simon weren't available we would never know what Onyekuru could bring to the team. And , you think you are sensible ? Even , against the friendly with Algeria Rohr ignored Agu and the U17 boy who were natural midfield operators and pushed his English loving Ajayi who made a mess. It was not until the game was literally lost that he introduced Agu and the little boy to go kill themselves, which is typical of European coaches....abeg , ffuck Rohr a million time! Now , since Aribo started playing for Nigeria what is the impact he has made on the team, so far ? I put it to you that the only reason Aribo is playing for Nigeria is based on his English privilege , which Rohr has no problem validating. Rohr has never given Agu a clear opportunity to prove himself simply because he has no confidence in his talent. Of course , we all know you have a loose nut in your brain , hence your penchant to make careless utterances. The only match Agu was given a bit of chance was against Zambia in the world cup qualifiers and he played excellently. I will never rate Aribo ahead of Agu because I know Agu has more talent just like I will not put Aina ahead of Awaziem. Thankfully, Rohr will soon leave and all these foreign born otu will get a reality check. 1 Like |

Yekini was a nightmare to face... But osimhen is fast becoming a nightmarishly monsterous player.. Victor, Ndidi, and Nacho have what it takes to bring home the Afcon..3rd place is a failure to me 7 Likes 2 Shares

How would you rate the genesis of these two eras? First Era: - Yakubu, Martins, Utaka, Osaze and Ike Uche Second Era: - Osimhen, Iheanacho, Onuachu, Simmy and Sadiq Notabien: Judgement should be based on how the two eras kicked off, put it into considerations the different abilities of each players in the respective eras in the eagles, and the quality of clubs they started off with

ChrisKels:O boy Kai this one go be long debate o Chris baba, only Osimehn and Iheanacho can compete with the first era but I still rate Osimehn as number one in rating individual player in both era based on his different abilities as a striker cos he is a perfect replacement for Rashidi Yekini. |

Andy let's be realistic yes we have a decent group of players but do we have the kind of depth teams like Argentina, Brazil, Spain, Belgium, France, Germany, Portugal, Italy, England have? and I never mention Croatia, Mexico, Uruguay, Colombia oh! 2nd round with our current squad of players is a realistic target. with inspiration and luck maybe quarters but that's about it. andrewbaba44: |

we are just about even but on a good day they will beat us because they have superior organization. That said we all know these kind of teams are unlikely going to be your opponents if you manage to make it to the second round. andrewbaba44: |
