lokho: The Bible didn't forbid drinking of alcohol in moderation. its overdrinking it condemns. Just as God's word condemns gluttony . Is eating food in moderation bad? |

1 Timothy 5:23 [23]Drink water no longer exclusively, but use a little wine for the sake of your stomach and your frequent illnesses. Deuteronomy 7:13 [13]And He will love you, bless you, and multiply you; He will also bless the fruit of your body and the fruit of your land, your grain, your new wine, and your oil, the increase of your cattle and the young of your flock in the land which He swore to your fathers to give you. Deuteronomy 14:23 [23]And you shall eat before the Lord your God in the place in which He will cause His Name [and Presence] to dwell the tithe (tenth) of your grain, your new wine, your oil, and the firstlings of your herd and your flock, that you may learn [reverently] to fear the Lord your God always. Ruth 2:14 [14]And at mealtime Boaz said to her, Come here and eat of the bread and dip your morsel in the sour wine [mixed with oil]. And she sat beside the reapers; and he passed her some parched grain, and she ate until she was satisfied and she had some left [for Naomi]. Numbers 6:20 [20]And the priest shall wave them for a wave offering before the Lord; they are a holy portion for the priest, with the breast that is waved and the thigh or shoulder that is offered; and after that the Nazirite may drink wine. Ecclesiastes 2:24 [24]There is nothing better for a man than that he should eat and drink and make himself enjoy good in his labor. Even this, I have seen, is from the hand of God. |

Isaiah 64:6 [6]For we have all become like one who is unclean [ceremonially, like a leper], and all our righteousness (our best deeds of rightness and justice) is like filthy rags or a polluted garment; we all fade like a leaf, and our iniquities, like the wind, take us away [far from God's favor, hurrying us toward destruction]. [Lev. 13:45, 46.] Make God help you |

donbachi: Money is the root of all evil. That's one reason I have given you to remain poor. Those who use money don't have a place in God's kingdom |

I disagree. Although I believe no Christian should take alcohol because it's not perfect to do so and can lead someone to sin, it in itself cannot make someone to miss heaven... God bless. |

LeeSantos:I fail to see how this verse play in this. God Never declared alcohol, and the drinking of alcohol in neither of His Old Covenant(YHWH) nor His New Covenant(Jesus Christ), so bring up verses that have to do with Sin? |

Kobojunkiee: It's for those person who are heavenly conscious and they miss out everything. Heaven is by grace. You lie bout in Abuja, but u are in Lagos. That alone sef can make one lose heaven. They shouldn't come and put fear in the heart of other. On the end evryone and his judgement. Our parents or friends salvation can not take both persons to heaven. Salvation is personal.. You have your own encounter with God. other will get thiers. And stop preaching only one side of the Bible. |

LeeSantos: There is no one side of the Bible....there is one God and that one God NEVER declared that Alcohol, or the Drinking of it, is a sin. So if God has not declared it a sin... why assume it is a sin still? undecided Why do you try to add comandments/rules where God Himself has given none? Jesus Christ also never made alcohol a sin, nor did He set it as criteria for entering into Heaven. So why believe claims that suggest it is? undecided |
