I don't have a user experience of windows that open both ways but I'm sure it could be out there. If there are revolving doors, why not windows. It is all in the design of the hinges.

I had to quickly google the product and from what I noticed, it is white cement and inorganic and earth pigment that would most likely be mixed with sand and sprayed with the Tyrolene machine.
You could achieve it also using white cement and pigments instead of the grey portland cement.
It's going to be more expensive and not as effective as painting the regular tyrolene.
The regular tyrolene would soak in paint deep into it and further use the water from the paint to hydrate itself thereby locking the paint chemical with the cement.
The binder in the paint would also resist leaching of the colour which isn't the case with pigments held solely by cement.

Nothing will happen to your aluminum if properly done except your neighborhood is still scanty or prone and filled with petty thief.
they are nailed to the wall at intervals so to remove them neatly, you will be relaxed n spend much time n if it's to destroy it you will make noise n call attention to yourself.

I don't think pigments used on increte floor would retain the sharp and uniform colour for long once the sealant wears off.
You may use it as a screeding or tyrolene but include acrylic binder solution in the mix to retain colour and to reduce porosity and growth on it.

Design it is.

There are various types and styles of coping, the decorative coping( the one on your fence) and a wedge coping the one attached.

Throat..ing is also an important aspect that helps dissipate water away from the wall.

But then, one can also put up a valid argument that it doesn't protect the lower part of the wall, Well I think that where quality paint comes in.

Can we just channel all energies to the bolded? Nothing can fix fast fading fence issh better than having an all weather paint.

I knew grafitex paint on the lower part of my building stay same (though dull now due to splashes) but the emulsion on my fence did not.

I think getting an all-weather paint will be a more effective solution than all the trial-n-errors.

The client is the one to give primary info before architect design such.
Our naija arch can design this perfectly ok , let’s forget jor ...olohun nothing hard In designing.

What matters is client choice, availability of materials and location(so many things associated with location here)

What matters is choice of client and location,

Most clients don’t know what they want until they see it.

That’s why most homeowners are not really happy with their finished build (especially here in Naija).

It’s the job of the professionals to bring their dreams into reality.

Anyone can draw but conceptualization is always the issue. A lot of Nigerian architects are so impatient and are always after money that they care less about clients satisfaction.

I do review my drawings more than 10 times in some occasion. I mean redrawing or having to come up with a new concept entirely just to meet a clients need.

Nigerian architects can do traditional stuffs. No doubt about it. But when it comes to designing to International standard, there are very few who fit into that class (let’s use nairaland architects as a yardstick for now). I doubt we will count a dozen.

When I see some drawings, I always smile.
I’m currently looking at one and I’m like “an architect draw this?” And he didn’t know the staircase won’t work.

In few days, the builder will be tearing down a wall because the staircase can’t work and up till moment they all don’t know it yet.

Fingers crossed.

Again, anyone can draw. Only very few can come up with a great concept. That’s why there are not too many Frank Lloyd and Zaha Hadids in this world.
