Brother,I think this was a honest mistake on the part of Kim. Mistakes do happen as we are all not perfect. even in science and medicine.

But she should not be left off the hook just like that. she should pay heavily for that costly mistake so that Family and Friends of Daunte can find closure.

Officer Porter is a 26 year veteran of the police department and she was the President of the local FOP ( Fraternal Order of Police) and I can assure you as a multiple gun owner that there's a difference in a gun especially the standard issue Glock 20 which is common with all police departments in US and a Taser. Secondly, a gun should be holstered at your favorite side and that means that if you are right handed, the gun should be on your right side. Thirdly, Glock which the officer was carrying is Black while most Tasers are Yellow or orange in color. How come when it comes to Black people, the police officers are always mistaken but when white people like Dylan Roof who killed 9 Black elderly people in their Bible study class in Charleston, South Carolina was captured, not a single slap on him and in fact they bought him a Double Cheeseburger and something to drink when he complained of being hungry. There are so many cases like that in America and how come they never give Blacks and Hispanics benefit of doubt. I move around 95% of the time with my gun in my body because I live In a Concealed and Carry State but I and Millions of African Americans here know that we don't get a benefit of doubt because of our skin color. By the way, why is Daunte not giving the benefit of doubt that some people are giving to the killer officer Porter ?. You have to live in America to know the mind of these deranged police officers who turned themselves to Judge, Jury and Executioner.

As I exited the Clubhouse around 7pm, I did not make a complete stop at the Stop Sign and was pulled over by two officers in the squad car. Being a nice guy that I am and knowing the drill very well, the first thing I told them was that I have my Glock 20 in my Glove compartment. They asked me to step out of the car and told me the reason they pulled me over. They asked for my Driver's License, Registration, insurance and my FOI Card. Produced everything and was given a warning. Surprisingly, I never knew one of the two white officers was a guy that used to work out with us at my old World Gym. The bottomline is that being Black in US will make you understand how you deal with police officers because no matter how uppity you are as an African American, they come to you with their biases. That's why I advocate nice grooming and dressing for these young brothers and be very cooperative with them because you can sue them after the encounter if you are lucky not to be killed.

White people rarely have to do all that. Imagine having to educate kids about how to relate with police because of their skin colour. I remember watching a series of fresh Prince of Bel Air in the 90s. This episode felt like a joke or comedy, but this is actually really life to many people.

Being naive can easily get a minority shot by the cops in the US. I just feel I have been lucky to have never been stopped by a US police officer the few times I drove across the border. Honestly, I would not have known how to behave so as to not get shot.
