Life is a game with Snakes on every level. How to identify and deal with the snakes around you:

- Whenever telling a person about your new accomplishments, pay extremely close attention to their facial muscles. If you sense coldness and a disappointed look followed by a smile (fake one), realize that the person is either unhappy or jealous.

- One more way is to notice if a person's being extra friendly to you, they're covering up something. It could be a favor they've saved up for the future or they see you as a threat/competitor & are trying to get close to know about your methods or could be anything in between.

- If you sense that a person is always jealous of you, remember to 1) Avoid enclosing many details about yourself, especially the bad ones. 2) Make your achievements sound small and as if you got lucky when you're describing them.

- Pay close attention to people who moan about the gifts they got for free. Such kinds of people have no sense of gratitude and have a high chance of being a snake.

If you fail to follow this, you will only realize their true colors once you have been stabbed in the back. Because jealousy is the most dangerous emotion. You can hate someone & it could be because they're evil. But jealousy purely means hating someone for being better than you.

Money can buy you love but not loyalty. If someone is not loyal to you now, the person can't be loyal to you in the future when money is involved. If someone is not in love with you now, the person can be in love with you in the future when money is involved.

When presented with two seemingly same products but with different price values, the salesperson may say one is more durable and also lasts longer than the other (this scenario sometimes happens when you specifically ask for a quality product), let's say, for example, you walk into a store to buy headphones, and the salesperson brings out two sets and says one is stronger and durable than the other, let say the first one costs $60, while the second one costs $20, normally, you would think the former should be of better quality than the latter, but this is not always the case, remember, salespersons are Machiavellians too.

They are good at manipulating and charming customers to get them to buy their products and sell at two times the worth if possible. If the price of the headphones is renegotiable (not sealed prices), try renegotiating for the one of higher price i.e the $60 headphones.

If at the process of the renegotiation, you were able to agree on let say, between the range of $30 - $35, chances are that the products are not as good as the salesperson said, but if the salesperson couldn't agree on a price lesser than $50, the probability that the said product is good or original is high.

You will always learn more about a person's real character at the end of a relationship. Failing to realize this is the main reason why people stay in toxic relationships. Never make the mistake of assuming that the person will become how they were when they first met you. The woman you marry is not the woman you divorce.
