So I worked for this organization for a short period of time.

I resigned but I was told I wouldn't get the previous month's salary because of what I don't understand.

There was no formal agreement either written or oral that I must work for a certain number of months before leaving.

I am about to involve the police. What do you think?

This is like a case of the poor fighting the rich.

Involving the Police and all that is not a bad one but What is important is to Sue the Company or Management to the Court of Heaven.

Go on your knees in Prayers and Sue them to the Supreme Court of Heaven.
Note: Ensure you have made Peace with a JESUS so as not to have Hindered Prayers.

In your offer of employment are you sure it wasn’t stated that you must inform them at least a specified no of months before leaving?

No. Nothing like that in written or oral form.

They now tabled it when I requested for salary after resigning.
