If you've got other things you're doing, it might be difficult keeping a full rein on trades, especially during periods of high volatility such as when significant trade news and events occur.

Where A= is initial capital. R=1.29, n-1= 12(month)

You're right.

I've done above 50% in one month several times, but I took quite careless and risky trades that would not ordinarily be sustainable in the long term.

My problem has always been with discipline, knowing when to log-off after successful/failed trades, and employing sound capital management. Those have been my challenges.

I assume you might have taken these into consideration before embarking on your challenge. Just keep that at the back of your mind while trading, even if that'd hamper your chances of hitting your target.

I am quite busy with my real hustle. I enter and monitor my trade on mobile. So its not much of a hassle. I look for signals in the morning and evening. Anything I don't see at these two periods in a day doesn't get traded.

I understand you point, however, I will adjust a little bit from next set of trades. I know exactly what to do to cut down my trades. However, it will never be in the range of two trades. Will always be above 10 trades

This is not my account, I came across this and it shows with the right sharpe ratio you can be ahead as a technical trader.

Check the last column of the image, you'll see out of 600 + trades, he won only 222 lost over 400 yet made a 4000+ ROI.


which means that in almost every 6 trade he took he won only 2 and lost 4 (he cut his losses short amd lets his winners ride).

In terms of CFDs due to leverage usage opening too many trades isn't advisable.

If this were the equities market. You can hold as many numbers of shares in thousands of companies - nobody cares because there's no use of leverage.

You can even ask your broker to give you margin to buy more positions.

I can trade a fews pairs and still ball. Mention your best pair, we both create an account and trade on those pairs only and using only one lot size and same broker and same SERVER. AFTER 30 DAYS LET'S SEE WHO HAS MORE PIPS AND BIGGER BALANCE.

We all have what works for our emotions. I don't just like stop losses. I use it with one of my account though. However, like I said earlier I will cut down on the trades after I close these ones. I promise.
