Omo that's most likely what happened. The person you sold it to probably deleted the contacts on the phone and logged out your Gmail. Check your Mi account though, it should also store some of your contacts if you gave it syncing permission.
it skipped my mind , I'll check now. Thanks so much

Log in to your contact.google account and see if you can restore your deleted contacts from there. Deleted contacts are retained for a particular period of time there.

Personally, I always have an offline backup of my contacts to avoid this kind of scenario.

If you had it before then try uninstalling updates for your security app and check again

Bubewilson:

The phone is a Redmi 9c 2GB/32GB.
Some time ago I saw the dual app feature and used it...the picture below are the two apps I cloned with it at the time.

How then is it possible that another person's Redmi 9C will have some features and another won't have it?

@Mustiboy is your Redmi 9C the 3GB/64GB variant?

Playstore doesn't accept Nigeria card nor 9pay. Your best option is to use barter by flutterwave virtual dollar card which cost $2 to own @ ₦505/$

Really? Cuz I pay with VISA naira card effortlessly on Playstore.

It's like Xiaomi Mi 10 series or 11 are scarce in Nigeria market.

Why is it difficult to get one?

Genuine place to get one will be appreciated.

That is because they weren't released for the Nigerian market.

You cannot get them from your slot or Pointek or whichever big store you know.

Macbeyland can help you pre-order them, contact him. He is even collecting pre-orders for Mi 11 Ultra

You can't get this in the market
check Xiaomi thread store. If you have trust issues then wait for it to be available in physical stores
