Let's be honest, obaseki saying this or not, doesn't change the fact that APC is capable of doing anything morally wrong. If it is wrong, evil, vile just know APC did it! For those quoting : printing isn't bad yes, but there r tenets to it. It can easily do more harm than good given the current state of the nation. 106 Likes 6 Shares |

This Country is crumbling financially and we are being overrun by insecurity, none of this idiots could put on their critical thinking cap and save their State not to talk of helping the country. All they do is to argue, attack and counterattack themselves. They continue to deceive Nigerians with talk and no do system of rulership. This set of Nigerian Leaders are the reason hell was created. Jerryherd: But he challenged the CBN to say otherwise... He must have consulted Obaseki to find out for himself before coming to air. I personally don't think that Obaseki who is a sitting governor would make such a heavy statement if there's no truth in it. 68 Likes 3 Shares |

Who is responsible for printing money? Secondly, did they share the printed cash at the federal executive meeting where all the governors and ministers are present? No single camera pic of the governors carrying sacks of printed money away from Aso rock venue? I wish we have educated literates but unfortunately what we are having are educated illiterates roaming the streets with degree paper. Printing money is always on regular basis to replace the mutilated ones, and nowadays more transactions were electronically based not cash based. So the issue of printing for sharing does not arise. Or can someone tell me a single state in Nigeria that is paying salary or state contractors with physical cash? Sharing money from reserves is a normal tradition. In fact that is the main reason for creating those special accounts. To save for rainy days. Of what essence is the account if not to share when the state revenues goes down? All the big taxes from companies are paid once in a year. As such that particular month the company paid. And will not pay again till next year. As such the government has to save the excess amount pending the months with lower revenue. So what is the deal here? 6 Likes 1 Share |

“Obaseki was in APC, so he understands them. So, Obaseki couldn’t have come from the blues to say they printed N60 billion. He knows them,” he stated. So Wike and other governors have no knowledge of whether there is printing or not for the purpose of sharing monthly federal allocation. What I know for sure is Obaseki maybe correct about information as to printing of money going by CBN governor personal talk on this matter, but he got the purpose wrong, the printing can never be because of payment of allocation as the shortfall was withdrawn from another account. If expert view of money printing is anything to go by, it means increasing the Figures of money in circulation and not necessarily printing physical cash. Why should CBN increase Naira figure in circulation for a shortfall that was made up from another account? Experts and News have confirmed that developed countries printed more money as a reaction to economy collapse due to the World pandemic last year. Seriously, with all the FG COVID19 stimulus packages and loans coupled with lower income generation for past years and insecurity issues affecting businesses and investors, the FG through CBN has justifiable reasons for opting to printing of more money or in layman terms, increase the total amount of money in circulation. 5 Likes 1 Share |
