KingOKON:Gabriel Omohinmin and Charles Kumolu are Edo frauds. Thank God I checked the columnists name. I knew something was terribly wrong. Go save the Empire from Alhaji Chicago and you are here laughing like a crabThis has no meaning to me actually. Nairalanders can’t keep pretending to be amused by your dry jokes just to massage your battered ego. Focus your energy on saving Benin kingdom from my grip. 2 Likes |

TAO11: stop contradicting yourself Ekpoki even the very one you spell is rubbish let us assume it is even correct does that make it the same meaning as ogiame of warri? your hate for Benin will make you cry us a river today |
Re: Warri Succession Crisis: Oba Of Benin Wades In, Meets Ologbotsere by TAO11(f): 4:39pm On Apr 19, 2021 |
Etrusen: UGBE634:Lol. You just said there is no Ogiame in Benin only to reach a spelling of “Ogiame” for the Benin family. Now get this: (1) Ogiamien is the name of Evian’s son. Their saga led to the invitation sent to Ife. This Ogiamien is also spelt as Ogiamwen in classical Benin text. You don’t know what you don’t know. (2) Ogiame on the other hand is the title of the Olu in Itsekiri land. 2 Likes |

TAO11: madam you are too confuse to understand you think only what you see on paper can save you here let me shock you even if you bring anything classical book or whatsoever the word ogiamwen in Benin has no meaning when talking about Ogiamien if I still explain now you will still dance in your ignorance keep deceiving yourself |
Re: Warri Succession Crisis: Oba Of Benin Wades In, Meets Ologbotsere by UGBE634: 4:49pm On Apr 19, 2021 |
TAO11:OGAIME- the title of the olu of warri means king over the riverine terrain, the text you wrote that made me quote had Ogiame on it. I thought you quoted my correction I sent to gregyboy and I came to correct it. the Ogiamwen you wrote does not have any meaning in Benin it certainly was a mistake that is what I am trying to tell you. the Ogiamien is not even in full spelling it that way won't reflect it full meaning, the e matters a lot in this context. lol at you don't know what you don't know me full bini man come and take lectures on the language you will need it to carry out this argument proper |

Re: Warri Succession Crisis: Oba Of Benin Wades In, Meets Ologbotsere by TAO11(f): 5:12pm On Apr 19, 2021 |
UGBE634:Yes I know that. And I appreciated your spotting it. I thought you quoted my correction I sent to gregyboy and I came to correct it.Oh okay, you didn’t mean to type that. Got it. the Ogiamwen you wrote does not have any meaning in Benin it certainly was a mistake that is what I am trying to tell you.It is reflected multiple times in different texts. Hence it is deliberate. A-B-C-D... are not Bini (or Yoruba) concepts. They are alien concepts borrowed to express our native words in written form. And many words (native or even foreign) are sometimes pronounced slightly differently from how they appear in writing. “Ooni” used to be spelt as “Owoni” in some 1800 text, but the pronunciation is nevertheless as the former. the Ogiamien is not even in full spelling it that way won't reflect it full meaning, the e matters a lot in this context. And no where did I insist that it is to be pronounced in a certain way. Refer again to my comment, my precise words were: (A) “The Benin one is also spelt Ogiamwen” (B) “This Ogiamien is also spelt as Ogiamwen in classical Benin text” lol at you don't know what you don't know me full bini man come and take lectures on the language you will need it to carry out this argument properYou clearly didn’t know that it was also spelt as Ogiemwen in some Benin text. Hence you don’t know what you don’t know. Clear? 3 Likes |

One of my friends and former colleague told me this: "I don't go on social media because it is filled with idiots". It would be nice to make a real debate platform which would be governed by logics and well moderated. Right here you have some crazy lying and deluded yar.iba who keep saying nonsensical things and just keep talking as if logics and truth don't matter. 1 Like 1 Share |

UGBE634:No, there are free borns in Benin. The Oba’s family members from Ife, Umogun, are free borns. But the common folks whom they met in Benin are the Oba’s slaves. But let me ask if @Etrusen, @gregyboy, and @Truthshots2 are proudly slaves of the Yoruba-Oba of Benin? I need answers NOW 3 Likes 1 Share |

UGBE634:Being the subject of a king is not the same as being a slave. Please increase your intelligence. The British still have a monarchy, yet nobody has called them slaves, morroco has a monarchy too. The thing is yorubas don't have real kings, so they just don't understand how a monarch could be respected like the Oba of Benin. Most yoruba actually descend from Brazilian slaves who were deported to our shores by the europeans. |
