LadyBlaq: No worries, since you have submitted the application, lets hope for the best and a positive outcome. There is no need to worry yourself. Leave it to God as you have done your best. You can send your additional documents via webform. All the best. |

Baphil:@olasubomy @Spectro Thank you for the words of encouragement. I will do that and hope for the best. @Baphil Thanks a lot, sending the transcript alone won't be too stressful via webform, yes? I will have to read up the Dos and Don'ts of sending information via webforms before sending the transcript. To be on a safer side, I sent you a mail, if you don't mind, please reply, I would appreciate if you'd give me an input on how to construct the mail for the webform. Thanks again. 2 Likes |

Hey guys, So my passport, visa and study permit will be expiring in August and I want to start the applications now. I know I have to go to Ottawa to renew my passport at the embassy. Is it better if I also renew my visa at the embassy(I heard you can apply there). Or should I just apply for only the passport at the embassy and renew my visa and study permit online? Thanks |

Emmyirab: truly you can renew your passport in Ottawa..But since youre in naija You should start your online Visa application right away and you should apply for a new passport booklet asap too. as soon as it is ready. you'll notify ircc with webform. |

Bblight: there are no challenges to using your account statement it only means you're self-sponsored a d financially capable. all you need to do is make sure you have enough (i think some years tuition as self-sponsored) if M not mistaken. you want to let the VO know you can take ccare of yourself without working in Canada. as for the money being transferred to your account. you need an affidavit of the gift of deed that your parent/parents is gifting you the money to finance your education. |

LadyBlaq:Oh really? never knew you had submitted with the way you asked the question, it should have been better if you had asked before submitting. Interestingly, It might actually not mean anything eventually, but since you stated the content as TRANSCRIPT on your application, it might be up for some scrutiny by a VO due to the alteration. Don't panic, do the webform thing as suggested by the HONORABLES, back it up with prayers and be hopeful All the best in your application ma'am 2 Likes |

Gud morning fellow Nairalanders, I got admission to Red deer college Alberta Canada. Anyone here attending same school? Pls let's meet Bro, Toronto School of Management is not PGWP eligible. Meaning if you school there, you won't be able to work after and would have to return to our lovely country. You can check yourself using this link: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/study-canada/study-permit/prepare/designated-learning-institutions-list.html#wb-auto-25 [/quote] |

Good morning everyone Please I really need an advice. Am 28 years, I finished my bsc program in a Nigerian university in 2018 but did not do my clearance due to the facts I didn't pay some school fees and did not have the money to pay for them when I graduated. So I started online trading of crypto because I bought some crypto in 2016 while I was still in school, and the recent boom of crypto saw my investment then in 2016 skyrocket. So since I finished my bsc program I had focused on online crypto trading. Haven't worked in any organization, obviously because without a meaningful certificate one can't get a good paying job. Now i have some money, am doing my clearance, infact I should be getting my statement of result and transcript in a month time or there about. Having traded crypto for sometime I now have about 100k cad, and I would love to go for post graduate program or a masters program, it all depends on what my 3.0 GPA can get me. My problem is this. 1. Am sponsoring myself with a 100k cad, if asked by the VO where I work or where I have worked since I finished school what will be the best answer? 2. Why do I need this certificate or why do I want to study in CA.? My home ties A car, a house, and a plot of land ,all worth about 18 to 20m. Am also married and have child of 2 years old. 1 Like |

Good morning everyone. This advice is for those having document compression issues. What worked for me. I had to compress each separately before merging them together. Also for those just applying. Prayer and patience is key. My application just took 2 months at the dot. Although I feel everyone's application is different. Also if your parents have visa to other countries. Please attach them. Good luck to everyone. Also, the 3 days quarantine may be ending April 30th. So let's just keep an open mind to whether they'd extend it or not 2 Likes |

Rootiab: Now let me inform you, the total days for quarantine is 14 days, you do 3 days at the designated hotel, on day 10 you would do a test with the test kit given to you at the airport, day 14 if no symptoms, you are free to go, the total days required for quarantine I 14 days not 17 days, do your proper research, people have been travelling bro, no one used 17 days for quarantine 4 Likes 1 Share |
