Ultimately winning the SL trophy wont matter because the tournament is owned by the big 6 clubs so they all get paid regardless. So they wont let just the winning team enjoy the money. The Glazers never cared about trophies, They care about making money.

Even in the UCL the winners get more than the other teams but the Glazers did not have the incentive to chase the title. This Super league guaranntees cash windfall at little or no risk. There is no incentive for anyone who is not motivated by winning titles to spend more than is necessary there.

Spending 200-200m more in order to stand the chance of making 200-300m more and win the title will not pass the risk-benefit test of those Americans.

From information I have perused through, clubs will get a certain amount for participating in the SL and the winner will definitely get an additional cash which will double or close to triple that which the UCL offers presently...What I am saying is that the extra 200-300m that comes with winning the trophy is worth fighting for unless you tell me that all the participating team will earn the same amount...

Ofcourse, winner takes more, but the base amount for participating alone surpasses that of the UCL winner.

So why stress over the extra 200-300? when they also have a club to run in NFL
