My own solution is massive reduction of power consumption by adopting a combination of energy saving devices, nuclear power replacing fossil fuel, and renewables like wind and solar energy. As a matter of fact, solar boards can be used to do the covering, thus killing two birds with a single slingshot. Another form of covering is afforestation.
