Illiterate

The standard of education is not about buildings

You are the illiterate here for being ignorant...

It's not just the structure but the innovation and ambience for better academic comprehension.

You think graduate of that school attend Nigerian universities?

Only few do, and those few always come outstanding in their fields...

With the few I know about that attended UNN both came out as best graduating students of the university in their respective years of graduation recently.

Pray to have your children attend such schools and not wish the school to lose her sound academic morals and attribute.

Yea, the girl that used to come second in my class
Failed the exam

She was so hurt, her ego was hurt
Because her elder brother and sister, all attended the school. .it was like a family tradition and pride

And she was a proud catholic
The school was her dream school

She went to another catholic school and did her js1
And wrote the exam again and passed it

And repeated her js1 in loyola
Instead of going to js2 in her other school
Because loyola only takes from js1

To show you, how desperate she was to go there

2008 i was among the students that represented my sch in United Nations model conference Abuja. Each state across Nigeria was represented by atleast 4 schools and each school coming with a minimum of ten students. So you can imagine the number of students gathered at the international conference centre Abuja. Loyola students had nothing special , they were just kids of the elite and a school from Abuja. It was a 7days conference, students were acting as representatives/ambassadors of different countries to the United Nations and we were assigned to various u.n bodies. Myself I was in the general assembly and I represented Costal rica, 2009 version I was among the directors in the conference. There was no outstanding student from loyola.
If you were outstanding you would know it's Costa Rica.

That school that only genius children go too

In my set in primary/elementary school

Only the boy that used to come first in our class
That passed the exam

Yoruba boy, he's name was Gbenga

Loyola was hype in portharcourt

Not just in port Harcourt even in Warri. The guy and girl from my school that went there were "brains", they were there on scholarship. The guy went to UNIPORT and made a first a first-class in pet engr, he is now a big boy in Shell. While the lady, babe just dey collect trophys upandan France, UK, US - her portfolio on LinkedIn is wow. Beautiful tomboy cheesy, she's into sport as well. I always admire her right from time.

Now in the british columbia university in canada, studying medicine
I think now almost a medical doctor

I didn't know they give scholarships in loyola

The boy gbenga had 545 over 600 in his common entrance those days

In portharcourt The hype school was jephthah
The entrance examination not that competitive like loyola
But it was hard to get in I cried so badly, when I couldn't get in The school pitied me and gave me admission by force cry grin undecided When they saw me crying outside the school admission office
But I regret going there Why try and go to a school, that you didn't get in at the first place What makes you think, you will be able to compete
I did okay, my first few years But my last years, my academics dropped badly
@ the bolded, what do you think was responsible for that?

Do you mean science was hard for you?

(pls NOTE: I'm currently researching into how to help students do better in school, because I believe that almost all students actually have the capacity to perform well. That's why I'm interested in your case.)

thank God for people like you.

your head dy ground.

first of all this guy doesn't even know a proper architecture cos if he did he wouldn't be shouting Loyola up and down.

Loyola looks choked up.

secondly many schools deceive parents with good buildings, beautiful uniforms and polished english speaking teachers.

It's just now, I am hearing loyola is expensive
It's a dope secondary school

But loyola wasn't known for cool rich campus

Like the bells secondary school, olasore, green springs, white sands, atlanta hall, British lekki

Loyola just focused on academics. .where the best brian's . .go and compete
No time for swimming pool on campus
