Rodgers is showing Nacho tough love. Maybe this is a way to keep him grounded.

How was his performance yesterday.. Couldn't watch the match cos of work..
I learnt his performance was below par, even though he scored..

A little bit upgraded than Onuachu because of his past seasons.
Onuachu has been largely better than him this season

If England U21s and Super Eagles invite him today he will still reject Nigeria and play for them it is high time we move away from this guy
solonnachi:
[b]Crystal Palace Eze Hints At Super Eagles Switch- I Have A Good Relationship With President Of Nigeria FA[b]
Owngoalnigeria

Crystal Palace midfielder Ebere Eze has refuse to rule out a switch to Nigeria in the nearest future despite initially turning down them down for England.

Eze trained with the Super Eagles in 2017 during a training camp in London but two years later when he was officially called up to the senior team he declined and instead picked England.

He was part of the English U21 team that failed to make it past the group stages at the recently concluded European Championship. He is however open to the idea of playing for Nigeria in the future.

President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Amaju Pinnick has twice met with the dribbling ace and now Eze says his relationship with Pinnick is still intact.

“ A lot happened when I made the decision to play for England and my discussion with the president of the Nigeria FA went well. It’s something you never close the door on. I have a very good relationship with Mr Pinnick”, he said when quizzed on if he could yet switch back to Nigeria.

Y'know its a wonder how people say weird stuffs about Austin Okocha. They look at the dude through the lens of "today's football". We seem to forget that football has evolved. First of all, whatever dribbles okocha came up with at that time is what an average fan paid for and wanted to see. It is what drew people to whatever club he played for. So in that regard, he was really successful. Pele of 1966, 1970 in today's football is at best an iniesta and not even close to messi if we want to judge it that way. But shouldnt we ask "were they in the same era?"

Okocha was bought for 12 million pounds as far back as 1998. How many african players got that as transfer fee? Respect what the man has done in football. He is an Afcon winner, an olympic gold medallist, a midfield maestro and a dribbling wizard. He has left the scene and we are yet to see anyone as creative as he is till date!
Best part, he is a Nigerian! What more can yall ask for?

I taya O!

If Messi played in that era he would have gotten life threatened injury because players were not much protected.

Respect Pele. Messi and co still never reach em level not to talk of Iniesta.

His time with the English U21 has come to an end following their exit from the Euro U21 championship, so he needs Senior team football now either England or Nigeria. Whichever he decides to pitch his tent with, he needs to make the decision fast.
Similarly Nigeria should start making move for Noni Madueke.

Olise is a better passer. He can also play as a CM and on the flanks.

Olise is an AM, I don't think he is cut out for the defensive rigours of a CM

Can def play as a CM in a 4-3-3 but not in a midfield 2.

Kelechi has now reached 30 premier league goals. Can he catch or surpass Yakubu? Tough ask but age and time is still on his side. Needs to work more on his right foot.

Using his many mistakes using "too" is annoying and uncalled for.
If Rogers had said he "makes many mistakes", it could have been acceptable but qualifying it with too many is unprofessional and wicked
nairalandankrah:
Leicester boss Brendan Rodgers moved to keep in-form frontman Kelechi Iheanacho’s feet on the ground, insisting he “makes too many mistakes.”
