With the new timeline for 52wks i.e. 11 months, vis a vis the validity of a written authorization being 3 months, I am wondering if to send the email to IRCC for one or not? I have read in previous posts that the written authorization helps the SOWP application move faster as sometimes they dont even treat your file until the request comes in. But if that is approved for 3 months and SOWP hasnt come out by then (which most likely it wont have given this 52 weeks timeline), what happens then? The written authorization would then expire? Please advise on what to do. Apply for written authorization now or wait for a few more weeks?

One thing am sure of is that dis crazy processing time will soon change back to normal. Which was always around 16 weeks before

Write that letter and send it ASAP. Without the letter, they will do nothing about your application!!. They requested you write the letter to notify them that you are travel restriction exempt.

Maybe one of the documents submitted is no longer valid due to expiration
Or it has pass it's validity
But I don't think it affects ur visa

And is ur employer still operating the business if it is employer specific LMIA

To clear the air you can write ur employer
And if it's spousal open work permit then
iraisee a web form about your enquiry

All is well, just Know if it's a big issue you would have received there mail it's just a misinterpretation on ur part

No. The airlines won’t ask for a return ticket for work permits and international students. Even you can not be sure of your return date. So don’t bother about a return ticket. They may however ask for your employment letter. I showed them my employment letter in Nigeria, and told them I have an open work permit in Canada which allows me to accept any job.

Does the visa prioritisation mail for spousal open work permit as it works for visit visa?

I would advice that you start the application as a married person. You can do a court wedding before you start your own application. You will then fill the form stating you are married. You will include your spouses’ name and marriage certificate in the application. It’s safer and uncomplicated that way.

Raise a web form or contact ircc to see if they would extend your medical.

Your medical has expired. Medicals are valid for one year, you did yours in March 2020, so it expired March 2021. You have to do fresh medical or contact ircc if they extended the previous one.
They won’t allow you to board your flight or enter canada till you sort it out

To answer your question you cannot add ur spouse to your study permit application but you can notify ircc of the change in your marital status.

Note that ur spouse can’t travel with you to canada on your study visa, you have to do a separate SOWP application for her

Your medical must be valid at the time you enter canada. Ircc can extend the validity at their discretion.

Thank you for responding to this issue. What is your advice concerning this. I have already booked flight hoping to travel in about 2 weeks time. I don't mind another medicals. Will they able to upload results and ircc effect changes in the short time? Or is evidence of taking the medicals will be enough to show them at Airport or Portal of Entry? I have raised aweb form of enquiry but I don't know if there a other ways to communicate effectively with them. I will appreciate your suggestions

Honestly, is only IRCC can answer this questions.

My files was transferred from Canadian VAC Abuja to Nairobi Kenya VAC maybe to fast track the work permit processing am on 29 weeks against 18 weeks timeline. Last webform response was processing is under “Active Review “. MPNP with valid job offer.

Pls have you heard from IRCC... about ur application just wondering maybe am the only one remaining
